I can only imagine how amazing and frightening it would be to leave the life Rebeckah lived to arrive in palatial wonderment. I mean electric lights and in-house toilets or whatever wonders would knock my frock off.

Another entertaining chapter, Rachelle, the excitement is really building for Rebekah. I loved the descriptions of the house where the grandmother lives and I thought you did this really well. An excellent piece, I really enjoyed reading it.

Thanks very much, Jacob. I look forward to your reviews so much every week. It's great to have you along on this trip.

The house actually belongs to Maria, who is Rebecca's voice teacher. She used to be my student, and Maria's grandmother was MY voice teacher.

Wind chimes that dangle like exotic earrings - what a perfect description, I can easily see them.

mating caterpillars - now, how would you know what that looks like? You sicko.

What is a whole-body love nudge, and how does one pull that off while carrying luggage and shopping bags.

And I love how Rebekah has already become a bit of a diva herself, as you peasants carry her luggage for her. You music queens!

What happened to your last paragraph? It missed the formatting seminar?

I just loved the chapter (I think I say that with every chapter), and I'm so happy to hear that you have said goodbye to Rebekah "for now". Tells me she'll be back in the story.

Good job, Allen. Now we can look forward to Jane in the car reading her pussy poetry:-(

A whole-body love nudge is about all one CAN do while carrying suitcases and bags - it's like a side-bump into someone when you lose your balance a little...only in this case, it's deliberate. The football player equivalent is tapping helmets. Has no one ever given you a full-body love-nudge? HOW old are you? You need new friends.

But thank you for being so noticing. I love your reviews for their thoroughness and attention to detail.

And I cannot figure out what happened with that last paragraph! It looks the same before I post. So weird. Maybe I'll try doing something with it again later today.

Thank you for the extra stars, too, SSS. xoxox

If a whole-body love nudge is like football players tapping helmets, I think I'll pass. Those idiots give each other concussions!

Well done.
I'm glad you ignored the luggage issue of 4 adults.
Calling 'shotgun' really took hold. I've heard it all over the country. We started in the 50s. Two different websites cite a 1921 story. And of course, the westerns of the 40s always had someone riding 'shotgun', naming the seating position.
There was some sort of spacing and sizing issue in your last paragraph.
Best wishes.

It's so funny what "sticks" in a culture's vernacular, isn't it!

And I have no idea what is with the formatting of that final chapter! I've tried twice now to fix it, but to no avail. Oy. Oh well, I'm nothing if not tenacious. It WILL look like all the rest by the end of the day! Thanks, Wayne. xo

I don't know what writing program you use, but in my version of Word, there is a paragraph symbol in the section with alignment (left, ctr, right). With markers exposed, I can usually clean those issues.

Another super chapter and your tenderness for Rebekah makes such a contrast with that OTHEEEEER WOOOMAN. Loved the way Maria dealt with her, with her rigid back and all, and then there's Gretchen with her "breathless incredulity" and her whole-body love-nudge!! Priceless. I can see it all!

So They parted with REbekah and thanks to both of you she is on the verge of a new life and career. And jane was summarily dismissed and snubbed .I enjoyed that...

Yes, that was fun for ME, too!! I'm sure the readership - which absolutely loathes Jane - is going to be big-time cheering today. Thank you for this delightful review, Sanku. xoxo

I just can't see her leaving her family for good, though, which is what she would have to give up if she embraces the Englisher way of life. Her family will be required to shun her. They can "escape" for a while under the heading of Rumspringa, but then they have to make a decision. Thank you for this really nice review. xoxo

We are headed for a two-against-one slugfest now that there are no young and impressionable Amish girls in the car to be horrified. Let the wild rumpus start!!

This is a story I can only dream about writing. Your words mesmerize me. Even without reading your biography, I would have guessed you had something to do with music. I do have to say that I'm partial to Jane! That girl has spirit. By the way, is there an International FanStory Convention in Jersey? Congratulations on a remarkable story.

Hahaha. Thank you very much for this absolutely lovely review. I appreciate it very much.

No, there is no international FS convention - in Jersey or anywhere - but there sure has been an outcry for one since Gretchen and I began writing this story! Maybe the Powers That Be are going to have to capitulate to this deep-seated need!! xoxox
