This was a most excellent loop poem to read before going to bed tonight. I liked reading it.
Favorite lines: mist muffles all the natural sounds
and also:
tunes that weave a web of sleep
Gotta love that 'm' alliteration and 'w' alliteration going on there.

rain plays a muted melody
melody of slow, haunting tunes
(When it rains, those autumn nights can be quite spooky. I don't know why, but that is something that I have always noticed.)

Hello Diane. Thanks so much!! It is a bit chilly here, but no rain... I was imaging that part ~ LOL. I am using a trick of Dean Kuch's tonight... inspiration has been fleeting of late, so I have lit candles in a dark room and I'm listening to a piano instrumental named "Autumn Colors". It's on in the background ~ hey, at least I got a Loop Poem out of it :). Thank you sweet friend.

Hello Helen. Thanks so much. I am experiencing such a night at this time. I also am playing a song list on my Spotify account that is Autumn Colors. I love it and if you like, I can send you the link. So cozy. I am writing tonight and I've borrowed a trick from Dean Kuch... he would light candles in a dark room and commence writing. Well... at least I got a Loop verse out if it LOL!!! Hugs, sweet friend.
