-Very nice artwork for your story idea. It is well organized with good examples of what you would like to explore in these stories you plan to write. I give you credit for wanting to do it, and sharing. Many people can learn from what some of us either go through or have gone through. They can also be uplifting or even humorous.
It would be interesting learning about your boys, and I would also like to hear about your first graders. I look forward to reading, and I don't think it will be boring. Good luck with your project. I like the quote you shared, too.

Oh! I am so excited you are going to write this. I used to watch the Military Wives when it was on T.V. I thought it was so interesting. I didn't know my husband when he was in the Coast Guard, but I know him now. Looking forward to reading your stories! love and blessings, Teri

This sounds like a good idea. Being a military wife is different from what most wives live. Being battered by a military man seems to be something so many military couples can't seem to avoid, possibly because of the warrior training. Having four boys is a challenge even if the military has nothing to do with it. I raised three with only a four-year gap in age between the oldest and youngest, and sometimes wondered if I would survive. This is a good idea for a writing project.

I like true life stories, as they are realistic and honest, and portray the real nitty-gritty, and I think yours sounds like it will make an interesting and insightful book. Don't embellish it, just give it as it was and is. I think authenticity is key. I will be looking forward to reading about the real you.

This sounds like a wonderful book, Barbara! To be honest, I don't like romance books at all but I follow you because you are a good writer and I learn from you. But I think I would love learning more about you. I know you have briefly mentioned about a past abusive relationship and did not really know much about that and the timeline. I also remember you mentioning Germany. I look forward to reading more about you!

I want to read anything you put out. Your life experiences are so interesting and would translate well to a connected novel. All except the abuse. I'm so sorry you had to undergo that. My wife laid the law done when we married and I never wanted to live life without her by my side.

It pains me to think of you being battered by someone who was supposed to love you far too much to even consider doing such a thing. This is a personal issue with me, at age thirteen, as a skinny little boy I threatened my step father's life for hitting my mother. My step father could have snapped me into with one hand probably. He even threatened to do so. I replied that he had to sleep sometime. I was so convincing that he left and never returned until I left to join the military four years later. I look forward to learning more about you, one of my favorite authors.
