This is an excellent 5 line poem. Yes there are high and lows for all of us and we seem to need them both to make us a whole person. The picture illustustrates the yin and yang. It all balances out. Nicely done. Good luck in the contest.

Hello Phill. I hope you are doing well and enjoying the season you are in... both figuratively and literally ;). Now, let's see, you are having winter in South Africa aren't you?? I'm currently with Hubby at the local swimming pool enduring the heat and drought. I DO want to tell you how much you encourage me when you share your thoughts about my writing. It has been a challenge to find time lately, but hopefully I can write more this summer. At least I hope so. Hugs, my friend.
