I think there's a lot of Tucker in Ric; or is that a lot of Ric in Tucker? And I think both Ric and Tucker are glad to see this epic adventure come to a happy close.
Good to know that one can hotwire digital code boxes as well as cars:-) Especially if there's $1,536,000,000 behind doors number one and two.
a Halloween pumpkin bursting into mush on the street - ouch! I would have wanted Francisco to suffer, but I guess there was no time for that. Same with Tammy - what's the hurry, honey?!
The last line should have read, "And everyone lived happily ever after." And so they did:-)
I'm so happy to see this series completed. It was fun, and full of action and good descriptive writing. Hoping to see many more SHORT stories in your future, as you are one of my faves here.

Thank you so much, Pam, for your extra special six-star review and kind words. I've had fun with this series, but I'm glad to get a break. You said the last line should have read: "And everyone lived happily ever after." But in real life: there isn't any such think as happily ever after. Just happy until the good times come to pieces, which they always do, at one time or the other. We just have to enjoy the best of times when we have them. LOL. Thank you again. I appreciate YOU!

To me, and avid reader and consumer of well written material. There is little more satisfying than a well constructed story that is expertly told. I usually give a written story two pages to engage me, failing that I toss it aside. Likewise, a move is usually given roughly five minutes to engage me, or it is change the channel or leave the theater. At my age I have far too little time left on this Earth to have it wasted on poorly conceived and execution by amateurs in need of better schooling or a change in careers. Nothing I have ever read from you has ever failed to garner and maintain my complete interest. You therefore, are ordered to keep on writing. Failure to do this will result in my mental daggers aimed at your fingers.

ROFL! You got me so tickled with your last line that I had to regroup to write an answer to your review. Thank you so much, Nomi, for your extra special six-star review and kind words. I'm so glad you liked it, and I can't thank you enough for hanging in there with me and old Tucker for so long. You're a gentleman, scholar, and a fine human being that I appreciate being associated with every day that we can!

Not that anyone can tell, but you got me blushing like a 12 year old virgin after get their first compliment. Thanks man I appreciate it.

Ric, really? The end of Tucker, et al.? I don't know. But this is a very fun, well-written story. The thing that makes it really good for me is the amount of detail you put in the story, in fact it's found in all of your stories. Your knowledge about the planes, the weight of the money, the details of how the cartel works.
And who knew old Robert Frost had such insights into dancing?
All of it works to engage and carry your reader along with you. Excellent. Terry.

Thank you so much, Terry, for your extra special six-star review and kind words. This is just an old man's way of getting into the action as best he can--at a desk, or from his La-Z-Boy. I'm glad you appreciate the details. Now, since I used real characters and names for the cartel, I hope they don't resent me killing them off. I can't run. LOL. I appreciate you and your encouragement!

To begin, I had trouble with paragraph two, confused by who's was who cleanup crew, but on the third read I got it.
Then I thought after finishing your read that you must have had a calculator in hand considering the calculating of funds sums, the weight of the pallets and the distribution into truck, let alone the mileage and etd and eta's of the flight.
Still, you kept my attention from beginning to end, not bad considering I have not read chapters 1-11.

Thank you so much, Tom, for your extra special six-star review and kind words. Also, for bringing to mind the difficulty in reading paragraph two. I'll go back and clarify that a little better; since, a single comma evidently isn't enough to separate the two sentences. Having not read the first eleven chapters, I'm surprised you bothered with twelve or could have any idea about the characters. LOL. This is a story that every chapter is important to understand what's happening in the next. But that probably doesn't to a guy whose mind plays it's own music and dances to a different drummer. Much appreciated!
-
You know we have been FS pals for a while and I can truly say I never received notice of the first eleven releases.
-
I?ve had five people tell me they fanned me but never got notices. I fanned you early on.
-
What is the difference between fan and Buddy
Whatever I?ll be sure to have you as
Both after I finish
You have been a swell supporter
-
I like buddies better. But fans get notices when I post. LOL

Excellent tale. Well told.
and touched two live wires together. - Maybe not two 'live' wires. maybe the only black or red with the only white or green?
Best wishes.

Thanks, Wayne, for taking time to read my foolishness and your kind words. Yes, there certainly weren't two live wires. The black and red complete the circuit. I have a tendency to figure people don't have to have things spelled out; but you are right, I can't just assume they know what I mean. LOL. Much appreciated!
-
In house wiring black and red denote hot and alternate hot (for 220 or 3-way switches)
-
I've always thought red was hot, and black was ground?
-
white is neutral
green is ground
think black death (hot)
and red hot
-
So, how wrong could I have been. In a household setting I complete the circuit with a brown (hot), and a blue wire. LOL. Or black and red both being hot. LOL. Thanks for pointing that out. I've gone my whole life thinking hot is read and ground is black. Lucky I always paid someone else to do it.
-
lucky you're alive! (smiley face here)
My great fortune is that I always (nearly) do repair and remodel work without killing the power first. Oh, it gets killed, but normally by shorting out through me.
-
LOL.

Wow, Ric, what a ride! The cartel of Aculpluco was real and all through this series they were hard to beat. Now the ending serves up the dish cold and complete. This had lots of twists and turns and was extremely entertaining to read. I love the large print! It was easy for me to read! Thanks for the thrill of a lifetime!
By the way, I haven't heard from you in a while. How are you?

Thank you so much, Jesse, for your extra special six-star review and kind words. I'm happy I could entertain you with my foolishness. I haven't heard from or seen you around for a long time, since your last surgery, and have often wondered and worried about how you've been. It's so good to hear from you and I hope all is well, and I appreciate your encouraging review!

Hello Ric.
I have posted about once a week here and spend time reviewing, also.
I am hanging in there.
How are you, my friend?
Take care,
Jesse
-
Hello, Jesse,
I used to get your posts in my inbox, but I haven't seen one in months. And I haven't seen any reviews from you in forever. But I'm glad to see you're okay and still writing. It's always a pleasure, my friend.
Wish you the best!
Ric

I wish the same for you!

What a strong ending to Tucker's Tale, except for one word 'scampered'. That is what I would expect a young boy to do, not a puffed up adult villain of the calibre of Farnsworth. However, the emotion in this piece is phenomenal, as is the pace. Great stuff. kay

Thank you so much, Kay, for your extra special six-star review and kind words. I'll have to go back and come up with a better word for "scampered," unless you'd like to make another suggestion? I have a tendency to take the easy way out sometimes, but I honestly racked my brain on that one word and something fitting never comes to mind. LOL. Thank you again, Kay, for sticking with my long story and always offering your wonderful encouragement. You're always appreciated!
-
how about skulked / loped / turned tail
-
I changed the whole idea of how they traveled through the hangar with "stealthily advanced." I hope it sounds and fits better to you. I appreciate you!
-
cool!
-
So, does that sound okay to you?
-
I can't find the corrected version. I'll try a bit later. k

Bravo! Fairytales to have happy endings even when Tucker is in charge! Nice job and of course I enjoyed every minute of it. I hate to see it end but we all know nothing lasts forever. Great job, my dear friend. I have loved the series.

My goodness you pack alot of action into a story. I am exhausted lol. Very well written and entertaining. Do you think Tom Cruise would take on the role of Tucker? One more thing...where can I get one of those pallets wrapped in plastic. :-)

Thank you so much, Marilyn, for your extra special six-star review and kind words. I'm glad to be finished with this story, and I promise, I'm as worn out from writing it, as you are from reading it. LOL. I saw a picture of over a billion cartel dollars stacked in a room; so, I packed it on pallets and wrapped it in plastic. No, Tom Cruise wouldn't work. Tucker doesn't like sissy boys, made to look tough in the movies. Thanks again for your kind and encouraging review. Much appreciated!
