Very nice complementary picture art choice.
Good imagery, which puts me right in the scene.
"as the wind sang its songs
and skipped and danced" Nice personification of the wind.
Nice romance within.
I'd love to visit these Serenade Mountains one day.

They are in my mind and heart! Thank you so much!
Comment from Wayne Fowler
Very, very nice.
Especially the tender parts!
You put me in the Sierras, even though you might have it placed in the Rockies.
Best wishes.

This is a very romantic free verse poem. You actually promoted it well as I not used to seeing some much money on your work. I enjoyed reading you poem about the eerie turns the wind makes as it blows through the Serenade Mountains. I don't know where they are but they sound lovely.

I can't always promote my work, but I needed experience in poetry so I had this one promoted and it got great reception, for which I give God the glory.

We think that we are alone and hidden from prying eyes but the truth is the sun and moon see all, the wind hears and rain cleanses what we have done in our innocence and youth so only our memories carry and appreciate those songs of our past. Thank you for sharing your poetic memories.

This is a lovely poem full of colorful descriptions. It evokes vivid visuals in the reader's mind. My favorite lines:
water slithers on downward path
like weary tears
Very much enjoyed. Thanks for sharing.

Thank you so much! I never felt I was much good at poetry but you and the FS writers have taught me much!

I've always believed that the energy we leave behind in homes or places remains. Like stories written in the hills. What a wonderfully written poem. Best of luck with your writing!
Have a great day, and God bless.

I replied once before but am not sure it ever went through, with my terrible wifi. Thank you so much for your kind words!

This is quite beautiful, my friend, and gives me a taste of the country I seldom see. I think the last I was there was 2002. I had eyesight then. I played golf in Arizona and Colorado with my husband and his oldest brother. How blessed you are to know it. Thank you so much for sharing.
Sending you my best today as always.

Thank you. I still am not that good at poetry. I have learned much from FS. I believe this is the first time I've promoted as poem.
