This poem, Blessed, gives the statement of faith that has followed the poet from birth, through the wars men fight, and into the maelstrom of living. It is good to be blessed.

Good for you. I hear you. My dad who died at 100 years old, was a prisoner of war merchant marine in Dekar Africa during ww2 and they even escaped. He God with him every minute through his life. Excellent poem with good descriptions, imagery, and emotion.
