As usual, you are wonderfully caring about fellow Fanstorians and are quick to post uplifting poems expressing loving concern for the health and welfare of us all.
A mighty response initiated by this Scallop poem seeking prayers for Judiverse could well lead into healing. My heart goes out to her and I am hoping to be hearing a good update very soon. X X Lily

You're no stranger to injuries. You've conquered so much! Thanks for reviewing, Lily! Hugs!

Thank you for letting us know about Judiverse in such a creative way. Falling isn't a big deal for little ones, most of the time. But as we age those falls take their toll. I'll add her to my prayer list.

Yes, and your mom had experienced falls recently. It's a scary thing. Sometimes meds can make things worse. Judi was in her driveway so it could have been slick with ice. Scary!
Thanks for reviewing, Debi! Hugs!

I liked your poem for the falls of life in general and specifically for your kind thoughts of a fellow FanStorian. The Scallop is an interesting verse form, and you executed it well.

Thank you so much for reviewing, Verna! This was just a quick way to notify others of Judi's situation. I realize now how prone we are to falls as we age! Hugs!
(And thank you for your nice email! )

Oh no. I'm so sorry to learn she fell. I fell in my driveway a few weeks later than this a year ago, You probably remember me writing about it. I managed to get up and drag a tree with the other arm but I think I broke my wrist. It took about 6 weeks to heal and left me with nerve damage in three fingers. I'll be praying for Judiverse and will try to get in touch with her.

Yes, I remember you writing about it. You're so strong! Glad you recovered well. Karenina also had a really bad fall last year. Whew! Thanks for reviewing, Beth! Hugs!

Oh dear, another one. Debbie D'Arcie also had a nasty fall over Christmas, and had to put her dislocated ring finger back into place herself. Lots of facial bruising. Praying for Judy and her recovery. Unfortunately the physical effects, quite serious in themselves, are often accompanied by emotional ones. Thanks for sharing in your excellent poem.

Oh no! Thank you for mentioning Debbie! I didn't know of her fall. I think Lisaview had a knee surgery, too.
Hugs!

This is a fun poem and greeting for Judiverse. I'm sorry to hear she has fallen and ended up in the hospital for the holidays. I hope she is improving with rehab, and that she will be able to be home soon. Thanks for keeping us informed. Blessings. Carol

I was so shocked to hear that she was in the hospital so long already. It has been a rough Christmas for several of our writers here. Hugs!

Oh, NO! That's how I started my year last year! I'm so sorry to hear this!
You can bet I'll be praying for Judi...and I'll send her a PM (but not every day as I know those can get overwhelming too!)
I love this form! (another I'd love to try)
Did Judi break something? Or perhaps that's her wish to remain private...
This getting older can be tricky! A set of cellar stairs kept me down for over six weeks!

Judi didn't break anything but is badly bruised. Thank you for caring, Karenina! I DO remember your fall down the basement! Argh! You had a rough year, too!
Hugs and prayers!

Thank God no breaks! I hope they are giving her lots of great advice on how to minimize the risk of future falls...
-
Great! I'm sure she'll appreciate all the advice! I was wondering if it was icy on the driveway...

Oh No, Helen. This is awful. How terrible to spend Christmas in the hospital. What a tragedy. Of special note:
When down
we must reach out
and ask for friends to pray
(The above is so true. Thank you for sharing this us.)

Yes, when we're don't we should not withdraw. It's when we need our friends the most! Thanks so much, Margaret. How is Barbara (LovnPeace)? I know she had some health issues last year. Hugs!

Thank you so much for praying, Dolly! We are all so vulnerable and it's good we have each other's support here. Hugs!

Oh no! I knew I hadn't seen her on FS, but thought she was taking a holiday break. I wish I could send her a physical card, but since she is in Rehab, it would be a hard address to obtain. Thanks for letting us know.

Hi Melissa, I was going to send her a card, too. Just message me if you want her home address. You may already have it.
Thanks for caring!
Hugs!
