A delightful and very delicious entry. Santa is down in the dumps, elves and reindeer on strike. This was hilarious and so different from other Santa and reindeer stories.

I didn't realize that there was such a problem at the North Pole this year. I was unaware that the elves were unionized. I guess I could get used to Christmas in July. At least the people in the southern hemisphere could have a white Christmas.

You have added quite a bit of joy to the Christmas season with this humorous poem. Who, aside from you, would have thought of Santa being depressed and sitting in an empty sleigh? Each verse is more creative and funnier than the preceding verse. I really enjoyed this poem.

Yes, it does seem to have gotten a bit political. But union isn't so bad, as long as it creates a more equal work opportunity.

However, it is only for this poem. We all know that the real Santa treated the elves with much compassion, as I read in your book recently.
