Hi Debi,
This poem shows how faith gives you strength and how the Bible can comfort you and make it easier to handle the pain and sorrow.
I think you should make the font size bigger because my older eyes find it hard to read these pretty flowery fonts.
Keep writing and stay healthy.
Hope you are having a good Sunday.
Joan

Hey Joan, I did make some changes of a font that may be easier to see and did increase the size of it. Thanks so much tho for telling me, as I love using them so much, but not at the expense of the readers eyes. And the problem is I can hardly see them too, so I should know better. Thanks again from your fellow MN friend.

I'm truly sorry you have to endure this suffering and pain dear Debi, it's a very frustrating thing to face, the constant battling, the thought of, why me? And it always leads back to the only safe place, the cross, I will pray for you dear girl, that's my safe place, beautifully written dear friend, blessings Roy

Oh Roy, I didn't write this to tell of pain and illness, but just to confess that I falls short and this bible verse gives me comfort when I am suffering. And I do appreciate the prayers and will never turn them down. But I have no self pity or want to make it seem like I am complaining, when actually I do know how blessed I am. . My mother used to tell me when she was in so much pain and dying of pancreatic cancer, there's always someone who has it worse. That has stuck with me. But this poem was meant to be more of a joyous poem, falling short at time, but always finding my way back home.
Thank you my very dear friend for such wonderful comments and a friendship that is hard to beat..

Whenever we fail to show a forgiving spirit, we fail to recognize the forgiveness or mercy of one who gave up his only begotten son for the sake of people who deny the power of that gift. I pray I never forget. It is not easy to remember when we are inflamed by the faults of those who anger us.

Nomi, you are so darn sweet and I just thank you so very much for the loveliest comments. But this is actually a happy poem and I am counting blessings and thankful that even when I forget to pray, I am welcomed back with open arms. And you truly made my day as you are always so wise and I appreciate it so very much, my BBB.

Through your faith and strength given to you by God, the love from your family will allow you to constantly be resilient to what's thrown your way.

I liked the comfort psalm you provided us at the poems entry

Debi, keep the faith, my dear.

Have a great remainder of this Sunday.

Again, another lovely poem from you dear Debi... Even if I had not seen your name as the writer I do believe I would have known this was written by you.
I love the great photos of your grandkids..
Children are so wonderful seeming not to have a care in the world...
Hugs,
Lisa

Debi, I think your club entry is on point and well-written. I am aware of some of the struggles you have faced in your life, as you have written passionately about many of them. You have also demonstrated your strong faith while facing those challenges. It works for you and inspires others. Exceptional. Terry.

This is a really good entry for the club contest. You are imparting a fine message to others through your own experience. In line eight of your poem, "He" should be "Him". It is the object of the preposition.

This is a beautiful poem and resonates with me so well. I agree with the
author, as sometimes we get so busy we don't go to Him with our stress,
problems or worry and He wants us to come to Him with it all. The poem
flows and connects well. The artwork is precious and compliments this
poem. Going back as a child, as the author states, teaches me so much!
Hi Debi, hope you are having a great Sunday today and are feeling good. An uplifting, exceptional poem!....Hugs, Maria

Thank you for sharing this club entry with us. Thank you for this beautiful reminder of what's really important. As we deal with the daily struggles in our lives it's easy to forget the important things. I appreciate the reminder. I needed this right now.
