You have written about one of the greatest plagues infecting our world. I never realized this country was one of the major offenders, but then we are also the ones who buy more illegal drugs than any other country. Maybe we drug ourselves so we don't have to think of the torment those children suffer. For a country that thinks of itself as more Godly than others, the abuse of children has always been one of our dirty secrets.

    Hello Carol,
I was surprised to hear that the U S was a major player in this terrible practice. I think at one time we were a godly nation, but we have exploited the word "freedom" to include anything that we want to do without fear of consequence. Is it any wonder that we're dealing with the issues of crime, depression, or suicide in this country. We've lost our way and need a major turn around. Thanks so much for the generous review and comments.
    Have a blessed day.

Thank you for the movie recommendation, and especially the exhortation to do something to help fight against the sex slave trade. I know of several organizations which is working on this and know a woman who is helping tell the stories of rescued women.

    Hello Helen,
this movie had to fight the powers that be in order to be made available to the public. I believe Disney bought it from Fox and didn't want to release it. In order to deal with a problem, it must first be exposed. It's a national shame that our country would be a major player in the exploitation of children. Is there anything that people won't do for money? As a people we need to be praying for the U S before we cease to exist. Thanks so much for the fine review and comments gal.
    Have a blessed day.

Thank you, Tom! And some people groups are affected more like the Native teens of the US who are kidnapped much more. If you had read one of Liz O'Neill's books (writer here) she talks about a case where two ladies rescue a group. Although her story is fiction, it's based on real tragedies that happen regularly. There are even signs that the girls do to show that they are kidnapped and some have been rescued that way.

Thanks for mentioning that Helen. I'll have to check out Liz's writing. In our Wal- Mart store there is a whole wall of pictures of people who are missing, and I can't help but think that in many cases, they've been kidnapped and God knows what else.

Good work T. B.
Shame that our government is supporting this trafficking at the border, not that it doesn't occur in Mexico and other places, but the gringos in America have money and enough degraded minds to accept what is offered.

    Hello Tom,
You're right, a lot of these children are coming from poorer countries and shipped in to the U S like a commodity. If having more money promotes this kind of conduct, we'd be better off poor. Lord help us. Thanks for the fine review and comments.
    Have a blessed day.

    Hello Nathan,
thanks so much for the generous review and thoughtful words. I appreciate it very much. We all have a responsibility to speak out. I applaud the folks at Angel studios for making this movie, and Jim Caveizel, the actor for bringing such passion to his work and certainly the people in law enforcement who deal with this pressing problem every day.

Yes, Tom, my husband and I streamed it on our computer.
Disturbingly powerful and horrifyingly realistic.
The movie is just the "tip of the iceberg" based upon the research my husband and I have done...
Surely hope awareness = action as opposed to acquiescence and apathy.

Thank you for sharing!

    Hello Diane,
Isn't it distressing that such evil can be going on in the world, and that the United States is a major player in this despicable practice? I'm glad that you have seen this. You're right, this is just the tip of the iceberg. There are people who make regular trips to Asia for the purpose of having sex with children. Hopefully the more this is exposed, the harder it will be for the practice to continue on.
    Thanks for the great review.
    Have a blessed day.

Boy, you really don't want to get onto that topic, Tom. I was raised among the Indians, sex was constantly on the of perverts. Sex was on the minds of everyone, even the children but they reframed from it (sex). I am so glad that Jim Caviezel addressed this issue so well. It's about time, Amen to that. Blessings n Peace!!!

    Hello aryr,
I wish this were a subject that I didn't need to discuss at all, but if I sat on it, I'd go mad. How did we ever fall so far as to believe that it's OK to steal children from their homes and use them for our own gratification. This should be a wake up call to our country. We're on the brink of collapse if we don't get our house in order and start seeking the will of God. Thanks for the fine review and thoughtful comments.
    Have a blessed day.

I think most everyone is in agreement on the subject you wrote about. It is hard to imagine there are such people in this world, but they are everywhere. I wish lightning would strike them all dead.

    Hello PBB,
I think that what they will be facing eventually will be much worse than being struck by lightning, but in the interim, we need to be informed and put these jerks on notice. Thanks so much for the fine review.
    Have a blessed day.
