I can relate to your terror in that building. Thank goodness, Carol found you. The swimming incident is something I can relate to, also. I can't swim, but I love water, in it, on it, by it, as long as no one pushed me in.
There's always some sadistic moron who thinks it's funny to push a non-swimmer in the deep end. It's not funny!

Thank you for the great review and comments. Yes, I don't know why people want to terorize people who can swim by pushing them in. I had that happen at summer camp once.

This is another excellent chapter in your Life adventure book. I enjoyed how you were able to take differing challenges and meld them all together in one cohesive chapter. You have delightfully illustrated how you were able to embrace change and challenge with the consequences being consistent with life in a new city. Thanks for the lighthearted moments and visions of angst that accompanied your trying moments.

You are most welcome Beth. I'm trying to find a balance in my life right now. FanStory is coming up short. I am in the process of attempting to be a better writer and also become an entrepreneur. I just have to make some money lol

Oh, Beth, please forgive me, but I'm still laughing about the preacher's baptismal mishap. That's the crazy sort of thing I wish I could make up.
It's just too perfect. I know I'm going to hell for laughing about it, c'mon, who could've seen that coming. Must've shocked the hell out of the congregation, too!
Am I sick, or what?
Peace, Lee

Now, I'm cracking ;up at your reaction to it. You've doomed us both. It is definitely something one wouldn't expect to see when they go to church. Thanks for the review and the six stars. i means a lot.

I think it was your deadpan delivery that really took over the edge.
A modern day bolt from the blue.

New environments have their unique risks. LOL I enjoyed reading and do understand why you were so worried. I would've been too. Thank you for sharing this with us.

Thank you, Barbara. We mothers tend to overreact when it involves one of our children. My son was not only hyperactive, but he could be a klutz too. He was falling and hitting his head on something.

It does sound as though trouble seems to follow you no matter where you went. This must've been horrifying experience for you. I am glad you made it through and that your daughter came to your rescue. Patricia

Thank you Patricia. They were scary experiences but they turned out well in the end so I didn't have to stay in trouble too long.
