This was a very inventive way of observing all of the guidelines required to construct this poem. Not only did you hit all the spots, you made the poem entertaining. To me, that is the most important of writing anything. A grocery list that does not take care of your reasons for writing one is a waste of time. Very good write, I enjoyed it.

You've done an excellent job with this fun poem and entry for the Tricky Rhyme contest. The mono-rhyme is well done telling the story of the
musically talented orangutan Czar. He's probably better than many of the so called stars of today.
Well done.
Good luck in the contest.

I love this. The topic is a very serious one, but I like the happy ending and the way you write.
Your poem reminded me about a story I wrote a long time ago about a pink slug.
Good luck in the contest.

Ciao poet,
this is one of the most bizarre stories I have read off late.. it work for me though. It was entertaining
I read once that Clint Eastwood had a orangutan that smoked cigars .( biggrin)
It s sad that this gentle primate has lost most of its natural habitat like in Borneo where 90 percent of its forests have been replaced by palm oil plantations.
Keep safe!

Thank you Tempeste. I absolutely loved that movie where Clint Eastwood had the orangutan in. The name of it was, "Every which way but Loose," and it was fun to see him in a bit of a comedy. If you haven't seen it, it is wonderful. Thank you my sweet friend for such a lovelly review and your very kind words. I truly appreciate and agree with how awful that is that Borneo has done that to the animal kingdom there.

No I have not seen the film I read about it and there were some pics .. the orangutan in question was Clint Eastwoods pet in real life
. if I recall correctly his name was Clyde
Ciao!

Yes, I forgot about that part,
His name was Clyde. Thank you

masterful poem hitting all the words and the required rhymes and tells a great story. Loved it. Alos like the image. If I were writing it I'd turn into a political rant - the organatang turned into Donald Trump.

Lol, Jake, Trumps hair piece does kind of resemble the orangutan's hair.
Thanks for your fun and kind review and comments. I appreciate your humor too my friend.

You did a great job with your contest entry, Mystery Author.
The image plus your words paired perfectly. I liked the way
you formatted the rhyming words on a line by themselves.
Those words rhymed perfectly. The storyline was inventive
and fun. Too bad the other critters at the zoo were bullies.
I see none of them became a huge star with a Jaguar. However
at least those animals were safe in the zoo from poachers.
Your lines read smoothly and created great imagery.
Thanks for sharing and best wishes in the contest, Jan

Thank you so very much Jan! This prompt was a bit of a challenge to use the same rhyme at the end of each line, throughout the poem, but it was fun. I appreciate your lovely review and such kind comments. Also thank you for those shiny beautiful extra stars! You are a gem and I appreciate it very much!

An amusing tale you've created from the nominated words for the tricky rhyme contest.
From a sad Crabby Scrooge to his own Jaguar a tale well told. Good luck in the contest. Cheers

Very well done to the prompt. I thought this was a tough prompt, but you have handled it very well. Very good job on the rhyming. You didn't repeat any of the rhymed words.

Hello author, ha, ha, ha. Very good, very cute. This orangutan is quite talented. I especially liked:
It wouldn't be long before the cops would have him on radar
They almost caught him once, and it was close but no cigar
(He sounds like the car thieves that are working my daughter's neighborhood. The cops almost had him/them a few times, but the thieves sped off onto the Parkway. Gone in 60 seconds.)
Good rhyming. Great photo. A fun poem that made me laugh.

Thanks Margaret! Lol, I hope your daughter doesn't live near a zoo or she may have double the trouble! Of course that may depend on how talented the animals are out there. Not all can drive and play a guitar. Thanks for such a lovely review and kind words my friend! So appreciated!
