Oh Joanne, you are such a lovely friend! Thank you so much for such a kind review, comments and for your six stars. You my friend are so special!
Just wanted to tell that I had changed the ending of this a couple times, because everyone had a different opinion on how it should go. So I wrote both endings and asked people to vote. Why not? It's all about having some fun! Right?

No, he's always been forthcoming, although I preferred to work things out for myself Debi, there's something that's frozen on the advancing on my reviewing bonus, that he can't or won't fix, I'm not sure which, but it doesn't particularly bother me my funny Money is still advanced anyway, beautifully written my friend, blessings Roy

Hi Roy, I'm glad you at least are being awarded your 'funny money.' I love how you put that. I have to remember that. I do appreciate your very kind review for my poem.

I referred a friend to FanStory. She had questions and wrote to Tom. He promptly answered her questions even though she was not a member. I enjoyed your tribute to the elusive Tom, who began this site in 2000. We should throw him a party.
I pray you are recovering nicely.

Ah, the invisible leader. I have heard several different stories about him and none of them seem related to each other. Your memorable poem was fun and appreciative. I know, Tom, whoever he really is, certainly appreciates it. Well done. I really enjoyed this.

I could go for a party! I love how you use the symbolic metaphor of likening him to Charlie of Charlie's Angels. That is terrific and so true. This is so sweet to show him gratitude. I love this site. It has brought such validation to my life in something so meaningful to me...writing and writers. Thanks for this!

Hi Debi,
About time someone wrote a poem for Tom. We need to throw him a party. I liked the way you compared him to Charlie, and us to the Angels.
"Charlie just like Tom, content to stay in the background
When 'Angel Writers' need some help: Tom's always around"
My favorite line,
"I wish I knew where he hangs out, I'd buy the guy a beer"
Nicely penned! How are the knees doing? Stay brave and happy. You're bionic now!
I remember when I broke my ankle in 1996. Being laid up is no fun! Ya gotta be tough, and I know you are. I'll continue praying for you as you recover.
Hugs,
Kimbob

Kimbob, I just love you! You make me laugh and yet you are so darn sweet too! I remember us both having broken ankles (actually mine was shattered) as I spent 6 months in a care center w no weight bearing the whole time. I think that was the beginning of doing my legs in to no longer walk, along with my Lupus deteriorating my bones. So my ankle is artificial, my spine has lots of hardware and now both legs and knees. I do believe you are right, I am a bionic woman. Lol! Thanks for your awesome review and kind comments my friend!

Thank you for sharing this tribute to Tom with us. Yes, I think all of us have had at one time experiences with Tom and have wondered exactly who he is. LOL I have heard more than once that he's actually a group of people.

Aha Barb, I've never heard that theory before. You never know. And I have been asked to try to get an interview with him, but not sure he would ever agree. I thank you for the kind review and comments my friend

You did a great job, Debi. I enjoyed your sweet tribute to Tom.
I liked the comparison of him to Charlie of 'Charlie's Angels.' I
believe he will like it too. Your words read smoothly with great
rhymes, and they created great imagery. Your questions were
probably some others wanted to know. A party sounded great.
Thanks for sharing, Jan

I've only reached out to him a couple of times, but he got back to me immediately. Didn't someone write a story - maybe Terry - that gave us a little background on Tom.
You're staying busy in the hospital, good to hear!
Take a look at stanza that begins, "It took a while to get it all . . ."

What would I do w/o my BB? Thank you so much for catching that!
Thanks also for reading my poem about Tom. I will contact Terry to ask him.

Debi,
What a clever rhyming poem to celebrate the man behind the curtain. I am so glad you were able to get answers to all your questions so quickly. FanStory can be confusing and I still haven't mastered Advanced Editor.

Hi Sue, there is plenty I don't understand about advanced editor. But I only use font, size, adjusting to the center and bold or italic. So far that has worked but whenever I try to use colored font, that turns gray so plenty I can still learn. Thank you so much for your lovely review and comments my dear friend.
