This is a brilliant Take A Photo Poetry entry. The rhyming is perfect and the story you tell is quite humorous. It definitely brought a smile to this reader's face. The photo answers the question you pose in the title with exact precision.

Note: Did you mean won't instead of want in the 4th line of the 3rd stanza?

and bugs (want) won't let them be?

Thank you Eugene, I appreciate the review. Yes I meant "won't." Thanks for seeing the typo. If that deer knew I was tying to hide and take her picture, she would have been long gone. Not a very graceful pose. LOL

Did you take that picture? Wow, that's a great pose! I agree that though they don't have help from us, God provides a way for wildlife to take care of their problems like itches! Best wishes in the contest!

With use products to stop the itch (We use?)
But what of creature in the wild? (creatures)
for they're are designed in such a way (no "are" because you have "they're")

Thank you Helen. This one got entered before I was ready to put it out, and I kept getting phone calls. I appreciate you seeing the typos. Yes, I took this deer in all sorts of positions, but this was the silliest. The poem is sort of silly to. I shouldn't have waited until the last minute.
