Another fascinating chapter. Margot and Bessie have collected quite a bit of evidence about how poor Mr. Crowley had been cheated, which led to his suicide. Now to present the evidence to Miles. Richard really is having fits over the news that Meg and Miles are still seeing one another and may get married, despite objections. Fascinating bit about the coffee. Such a great story, and I'll be eager for the rest. judi

Heartrending note--I hadn't realized the suicide part was true--I'd assumed the bad guys faked it. Rich narrative, suspense builds. The scene with Richard going ballistic is brilliant!
