Awww Rigby sounds like he was a great dog. I'm sorry for your loss of your dear friend. They do have a way of weaving their way into our lives. Good luck in the contest.

Thank you Blondie. He was a fine dog. Ever so demanding, expecting me to jump to his every desire, but he was loving and sweet too. I'll never be able to have another one, he spoiled me for life.

Thank you Jan. He was a cute dog. He loved to eat. I spoiled him something fierce. When I ate cereal in the morning he had to have some too. If there was no milk on it, he would just look up at me until I poured some on. I should be ashamed I guess, but I'm not.

No, never be ashamed. Rigby was part of your family, and you would have done the same for the humans,

I think that's the way we've felt about all four dogs we've owned, they were all special, but particularly the last one, he was really special, he came to us via a friend who saw a little pup on a hot, stinking day on his own, we swept him up, not old enough to br apart from his mum, we fed him puppy milk, he died 16 years later, beloved by all, a ratbag mongrel, but the most loving dog we ever owned I miss him still. Brilliant story my friend, good luck, blessings Roy

Thank you Roy. Dogs seem to bring out the best in us. I wish they didn't pass so soon. It's like losing a member of the family. Blessings to you too.

A-w-w reading this wonderful story of Rigby brings a tear to my eye - it's narrated so beautifully especially the final two paragraphs - our pets certainly leave a pawprint on our heart -

Thanks for your awesome review Zanya. I miss him dearly, but I can never go through the pain of loss again, so he'll be the last dog we ever own. Thank you again.
