That's truly an amazing photo, but I can see where how it inspired you to write such an amazing piece of poetry, and an awe inspired work. This is beautifully written. Australia has very high mountain ranges, flattened by time and element I guess. Well done Jim. Blessings Roy

Enjoyed your philosophical poem which shows you as an avid mountain climber! There is a parallel to life in climbing mountains and the perspective it gives must be enthralling.
One minor suggestion - but it's up to you. It feels like the possessive.
with the 'morrows sunrise. ('morrow's -or even- tomorrow's)

I really enjoyed this free-write with clever descriptions and I felt I was in this scene as I read your poem, I love mountains and live close to them and see the sun glinting on the rocks, and have always yearned to climb one, I did that in your poem here, love Dolly x
