Hello Amada.
This is a very interesting and curious story about the lady with the briefcase. Your description of her opens all the questions like, who is she, where is she from, what is she doing, and why is she here?
You created a verbal puzzle and allow the readers to put the pieces together. You created a good mystery.
Good luck in the contest.

An interesting story - yet not a complete story. I felt the need for a bit more. It seemed to finish too soon to satisfy me, and I didn't know whether that was intentional, to leave the reader hanging, or simply because there really was nothing more to say.

Nice story, full of mystery and with an open end. Readers should do their part to define who she was and if all the questions were in the right direction. You brought even to James Bond to the story and continue in "active mode" your "internal-questions" machine-gun... Picture adds a direction to readers' imagination... Great Job!

Interesting! Funny how our minds slip back to a particular person who intersected our life and think "I wonder what he or she was really about? Where might they be now?"
This woman has remained an unsolved puzzle for you...
So many times in our lives of happens that way!

This is a well-written story and it can be said it is a mystery. An unsolved because we will really never know if this lady had secrets or not. Since you entered it in the your story contest you probably should have called it non-fiction because what made it your story is you watched her and came up with fantasies of what she might be, I enjoyed reading it.

This is an interesting memory of a mysterious woman. Somehow, I think there must be more to the story. Did she never shower or change clothes? Was the living room off limits once she arrived? You've given us a great tease, but somehow I need more. This contest doesn't have a word limit, so no restrictions there. I can imagine her keeping the books for an organized crime syndicate, or maybe she wasn't a bookkeeper at all. Perhaps her briefcase was where she kept changes of clothing. I would love to see a fleshed-out version of this. Everything you've written was written well. The stars don't reflect the writing skill; they reflect only the incompleteness of the story. It needs more, even if you have to make it up. After all, I don't know if this is just fiction or a true experience.

I guess some people can strike us this way. For some reason they remain fascinating to us, way beyond what is natural to hold an interest. Beautifully written my friend, well done, good luck, blessings Roy
