OMG Sandra, what the hail was the question...???...
just leaaaave the bullet floating in mid-stream...

gets better and better my amazing friend...this
is TRULY going to make a awesome book...if you don't make each chapter a different book...and put them on sale every Sunday...your driving me nuts...of course that's a short
drive...

and I love that Reg...can pop a lock at the drop of a dime...just my kind of guy...so glad they got Tania out...she could've died...and Grant did great...now lets see what happens...how will Colin be dealt with...

now when are Grant and Tania going to lock lips...and fall in love???...

this is one of the best chapters...but I loved them all...your work is so detailed my special friend...draws
your readers in for the duration...and then slam...their left out in the cold...

well you this was exciting...now how about a hint on the question...you don't have to tell the answer...

perfectly written you...couldn't have been any better...
sending you freeing hugs...and so much love...Linda xxoo

say hi to Ian for me...xxoo it's -7 and that's not with the wind chill...

LOL!! You'll find out soon. It is the start of the next part of this book. Linda, this review was amazing, you've totally made my day. Everything you've said has given me a humongous smile and, yes, now we might be seeing some romance...... or two!

I'll be speaking to Ian later, he had his vaccination yesterday. He was persuaded because it would be fatal if he caught the virus, and I'm not ready to lose him yet. I have to go first! I'm a lot older than him. I'll remember you to him. Not that I have to, he always asks.

It's freezing cold here, too. The birds we feed keep coming to our patio doors asking for more. I think food put on the fat to keep them warm, so we are making sure there is a steady amount to keep all the species fed. There are so many this year. I think that's because of the lockdown.

Sending you a wheelbarrow loads of love, dotted with flowers, my lovely friend. Take care and stay safe, no skating on the roads!! :)) Sandra xxxxx

What a relief. Now that psycho Colin can be out away where he can't hurt anyone. You did a great job, Sandra, with this intense chapter. I was engaged from start to finish. I'm thrilled Tania was rescued in time. Your cliff hanger will certainly make readers return for the next chapter to find out about Grandmother.
Respectfully, Jan

Hurray, free at last and hopefully not too late for her injuries. Maybe we get some romance at last. Thank you for sharing and good luck with your next chapter.

The tension was palpable! I loved it, really masterful use of describing the environment and world building this chapter was great. It's really important for a story, on FanStory, to be able to be picked up at any point and grip the reader as well as make sense. I understood exactly what was happening without reading the rest, and now feel I might have to take a look on amazon and buy the book when it's out!!

That is such an encouraging review, Hannah, thank you so very much! The six stars are just the icing on top and I really appreciate them. I'm delighted you enjoyed reading this part, and that you could pick it up. Sending you a warming hug, it's freezing in Southampton, it must be worse where you are! :)) Sandra xxx

I wonder what is the burning question in Grant's mind, something else involving his half brother and his mother, who presumably was mother to both Grant and Colin...or perhaps not. A most satisfying chapter, I guess even brutal characters like Colin have people who love them. Beautifully written Sandra, an excellent episode, blessings Roy

Yes, Grant and Colin have the same mother, there is a story behind that. Most people have a mum that loves them, it's sad for the ones that don't. I miss my mum every day.
I'm so pleased you found this part satisfying, Roy, everyone wanted Colin to get his comeuppance. It was hard to get it right, I'm not into writing violent scenes. Now we move on to the next part. Thank you, my dear friend, for another of your lovely reviews. Sending you a warm hug! :)) Sandra xxx

I?ll make an exception for this one, my story liking are a bit juvenile, but not too juvenile. Well done Sandra, great storytelling.

When this book is finished, I'm going back to children's stories. I might even write some more for Eric. I'm comfortable with those. I hope you're keeping well, my friend. xxx

Well, here's hoping the shingles are behind you now. Huh, well, that wouldn't be an improvement, so here's hoping they have passed altogether. This chapter is worth the wait. Thanks for sharing.

Thank you so much, my dear Ric, for those six stars and for reading this part. I'm glad you thought it was worth waiting for, that gave me a big smile. The shingles are easing a bit, it takes a while to go completely, but at least I can bigin to see the end. Thanks for thinking of me. Lots of love, Sandra xx

Oh, this was a dramatic chapter Sandra, and before I knew it, I had read it. I can so understand Grant's fury at Colin combined with the worry about Tania that he almost ended up killing his half-brother. Thank God that ended well, and let's hope Tania will eventually heal on body and soul.
And now, you have left us with another mystery about Grant's mother.
So well written and a great story. I can't wait to reading on. A big hug, Ulla xxx

Thank you so much for this fabulous review, Ulla, and all those shiny stars. Now we start moving into the next part of the story. I'm glad you enjoyed this part, it took me ages to get it right. Sending you a big hug from freezing England! :)) Sandra xx

Yes, I know you're cold up there. I'm sorry. Just to rub it in, the mountain sides here in my valley are awash with the almonds in full flower. It's a sight to behold.

I can remember them. We had about 40 almond trees, and they did look lovely and the scent!!!! Mmm xxx

-You didn't let up on this one, my friend.
-I think my heart was racing the whole
time I was reading.
-You have all of the action required for
the men to deal with Colin and get Tania.
-How sickened they must have been,
especially Grant, at seeing her in
such a state.
-It's always good there is someone there
to prevent the good guy from taking
things too far.
-I am very glad Tania is on the way
to the hospital to get the care she needs, but
it will certainly take a while.
-You leave us with another mystery
at the end, and it was a memory that
must have haunted Grant to the present day.
-You are doing a great job with this story.

You are very welcome and deserving, Sandra. You did a great job with the chapter. It flowed really well and really created tension, too. Hopefully, we are on to healing and romance; Valentine's Day is next Sunday. This is for Tania 💕💕
reply by the author on 07-Feb-2021
Aw, yes, healing and romance. What else could there possibly be? Tania will love those hearts. There is also our Monica. :)) xxx

I don't know, Sandra. We haven't heard from Monica so I expect we will. Here are 💕💕 for her!

The rescue was sterling. You brought the story to a satisfying point when they discovered where Colin had taken Tania. Now that she is in hospital hopefully she will be on the road to mending. There is more depth to the story to be revealed, I sense.

Whew! I'm exhausted. I worked so hard to get Tania out of there. I'm eager to see just how badly she's hurt. Hopefully, nothing that won't heal. Interesting part about Grant's talk with his grandfather. Did I miss that? I've read every chapter.

Thank you, my dear SATP, for all those stars, you are such a lovely sister. No, you haven't missed anything. You will start to learn why Grant has been the way he was with Tania. But, things will be changing. I'm sure you'll like the way it will go. Love you lots, my dear Yvonne. :)) Sandra xxx
