This short story relates to today's world. Here you are trying to help the woman cross the street and then she ends up missing her bus. It was a good intention on your part but a bad solution for the woman. It's like do ya or don't ya attitude. You were trying to be kind.

This is funny! I think that the chance to help someone comes more spontaneously, rather than when planned. I could see the ending clearly!

I found that the opening paragraph read more like poetry - short, chopping sentences that put me off a bit, but it got much better.
