You made good use of Robert Zimmerman's new Cube16 poetic form for this warm, yet ultimately melancholy, poem about stargazing -- with or without the telescope your loving husband gave you to enjoy while your eyesight lasts. I'm so glad you were able to see Polaris without it, and fully understand your consequent tears of joy, while you wonder how much longer you will be able to do so.
The photo [not of, but] representing you stargazing is beautiful. So is the video of the Perseid meteor shower of 2013.
However, the second video, despite "Starry, Starry Night" in its title, is melancholy, as it is about how Vincent van Gogh's art was poorly understood during his lifetime. Your delightfully heartwarming stories of love despite adverse circumstances will never suffer such a fate. The video is not out of place, though, as it fits the mood of your fourth stanza.
Superb.

Your cube 16 is exquisite, Sally. I love it. I could see everything you mentioned and felt like I was there watching and waiting for the brightest star to appear. Great job with the new style and the smooth flow, the great rhymes, the awesome picture, and your overall presentation.
Respectfully, Jan

I'm so happy you were able to see that special sight. You wrote a very good Cube16. They're such fun, aren't they? Jan keeps us up on all the space things, or I'd never know about them.

It's amazing how the the stars that shine, as we watch a shower of meteors pepper the night sky. Although my eyes are not as good as they were, I still can see quite well, but your joy at watching the North Star caused me to appreciate this priceless gift God has given us. Beautifully written dear Sally, bless your dear heart. Great post, blessings Roy

What a great Cube16 poem! You're amazing, Sally! No one would guess you have any sight issue with your wonderful writing! Loved the poem and so glad you could see the North Star without the telescope! You're doing better than me! That song was one of my favorites in middle school!
