Glad you had a good time on your visit and glad you had time to post. "Game of Love," is a great name, as is "Third and Twenty," or "Fourth and Forty." LOL. Thanks for sharing.

If this is the beginning it has enjoyed an auspicious one. This delightful story has gotten me all the way involved on a level that will not allow me to leave it unread as the story unfolds. This is really good writing, the kind I especially like to read.

I enjoyed reading this new chapter in your book about a new math teacher who moves to a Texas town to raise her four sons by herself. I like how she stood up for herself and corrected the man who foolishly insulted her. Bill

How horrible this experience would be. Now days a woman has good legal back up to fight such abuse, especially when it's witnessed by so many. I like that she stood up to him and I'm sure there's more explanation coming. I am a little confused why she borders on rude to the coach as I've gathered nothing inappropriate and his behavior
Will stand by.

Wow, the plot thickens. It seems Mr. Frost and Gabriel have some unpleasant history. Poor Katherine didn't deserve that introduction. Looks like Gabriel is ever the gentleman. I like him a lot.
I also like you suggested title. It seems to fit the characters and the situation so far.

Titles are always a work in progress for me. It's easier to write the story. Thank you.

What an excuse for a department head. He makes himself so obvious that others will surely see through him. I'm glad you introduced this character, as he will make Gabriel seem like not such a bad guy after all. I doubt that any kind of sensitivity training will make a dent in Frost's performance. Katherine does a great job of standing up to Frost. It seems like she's getting other teachers on her side. You do a great job of showing what it's like at the beginning of a new school year, and how the new teachers must feel. Excellent chapter. judi

With my husband being military, I was the new teacher often. Frost's story will be coming out, soon. Thank you

You're welcome. That must have been difficult for you. Being the "new kid on the block" isn't easy. judi

This is a well written piece, as usual. I was interested from beginning to end. I look forward to the next installment. I want to see more about Mr. Frost.

Your chapter moved very nicely. I thought the ending was outstanding, especially the manner, which she stood up to him. Also, I agree with you, 'Game of Love' would make a wonderful title.

She should have slapped mr frost .This is pure misogyny .Some men can't stand smart women. I am really enjoying this. May be there really are people like him who would have hated a woman as their president .hence Mr Trump.

Thank you for the kind review. There is no proof President Trump hates women, only fake news.

I thought it was a great chapter. You really dug up all this tension between Frost and Riley as he rudely makes this comment about her being single and an allusion to romantic interest from the coach. I thought the dialogue was really sharp and the confrontation between Riley and Frost was really tense. I also liked the part where the coach tries to help her, with a touch of chivalry, but she holds him at arms length with that modern woman's aversion to the man trying a bit condescendingly, maybe, to help her. The dialogue was really strong and brought all this emotion to life. Good character deffinition too. estory
