Sandra, just dropped in to see what's new and saw this. As always, quality work. I already hate Grant. Tania sounds a little too trusting, like most of us were at that age. Good story. Looking forward to more. Hope you are all managing the pandemic. Stay well.

Thank you so much for this lovely review, Frank. Tania's trust in her fellow human beings has been somewhat eroded lately. We'll see how she copes with Grant later. I'm so pleased you liked it. Warm hugs, my friend. :) Sandra xxx

Excellent use of character development and dialogue. You draw the reader right in and keep up tension. Your pacing is great. I enjoyed reading this chapter and look forward to more.

Super! And there's not even any supernatural about it--at least in this chapter. It's so good to be reading your stuff again, Sandra. I'm here for at least a year, so hopefully we will bump into one another now and again. This story is so different from the other one about the time-travel. But your craftsmanship shine through just the same. Love it.

Jay! How wonderful to see you back here! I've missed you. It was just recently I realised all my books were time-travel. I write a series of 4 books for my 12 year old grandson, and they were all time-travel. Lol. He even went to other planets! I've just finished a new ABC book about animals and there habitats. So, this one is very different. No, there is no time travel in it. But, the next one that I've written loads of notes about, is back in time. I just can't help myself.
So, are you putting a new novel on here? I hope so, I do enjoy your work. You will find a few of our favourite writers have died since you were last here. It's been a really sad time.

Thank you so much for this lovely review, and for awarding it the 6th golden star, that is so kind of you. I'm delighted you enjoyed this part. :))
Welcome back, my friend!! Lots of love, Sandra. xxx

Sandra, this just keeps getting better with each chapter. I especially loved this one, as the plot thickens. I'm looking forward to the remaining story. Congratulations

Yeah.... I'm thinking my vision was just about on track, here. Of course, Grant's gonna have to take his head out of his a** and see reality... Competition at those high levels are tough. Don't know about now, but a woman in a man's world (that's what it used to be, ya know... still is in many respects) is a helluva row to hoe...
Great chapter, my lady -- looking forward to the next!! :) ;)

I agree, it still is a man's world in many cases. Not that they are any good at what they do, they all need a good FEMALE secretary to do all the work!

Thank you so much, Yvette for another lovely review. You're right about Grant, he'll have to open his eyes soon. ;) Sending a warm hug, my friend. :)) Sandra xxx

I was so looking forward to this chapter, and I wasn't disappointed. I loved the comradery between Tania and Monica, and could see the whole scene play out like a movie in my head. I'm assuming Grant's shady half-brother is Tania's ex, but I can't wait to find out for sure!

Intriguing--from what I gather, this is kind of a double twist--Grant thinks Tania stole Colin's plans when it was the other way around. Skillful narration, fine dialog, well-drawn characters. Cheers. LIZ

I'm guessing that Tania's ex-boyfriend has some connection to Grant. What a creep. And Grant must have some clue. He doesn't appear to be stupid.

'I didn't have any evidence to prove they were mine, did I' should have a question mark.

Thank you so much for your lovely review, Cindy. Things are going to get quite heated soon.
That sentence you pointed out, I did have a question mark on it, but one reviewer told me as it was a rhetorical question, not requiring an answer, the question mark should be left out. I'm going to Google it, as I'm no longer sure what it should be. But, thank you for mentioning it. I might have been right in the first place. No, I was wrong, I've just checked it out. This is what I found, I thought I'd show you for your future reference. The English language is quite tricky, isn't it? (Now, was that a question, or was it rhetorical????? Lol) I'm going back to bed now!! LOL. Warm hugs, my dear friend. Sandra xxxx
Rhetorical | Definition of Rhetorical by Merriam-Websterwww.merriam-webster.com ? dictionary ? rhetorical

Well, it sure looks like Blake's brother got a hold of Tania's plans and took credit for them. Now I can't wait for her to manage to have him strung from a flagpole, or worse. But I'm sure that is a long way from happening. Thanks for sharing.

Wow, you put a new spin on the old love- hate story, and ungrateful and jerk ex-boyfriend. I hope Grant will catch his half-twit of a brother in a ho t spot. Thank you for sharing and good luck with the next chapter.
