Pam,
How lovely! We all face difficult and distressing times in our life - it hurts us when someone we care about is hurting, too.
This poem is a sweet reminder that there is always beauty around us - always the sign of God's love. I think this is precious. Thank you!

Hi Pam, this is a beautiful contribution to Yvonne. I know she had a son, but I didn't know he'd passed away. I'm rather shocked. This is the first I learn of it. Your poem is so tender and gentle. I'm sure she'll find comfort from your lovely words. Ulla:)))

Thanks for the review, Ulla. I appreciate your comments about the poem. I think this was quite sudden, and I learned about it from Jan(jannypan)'s poem.

I'm so sorry, for Yvonne and her family. I'm just in the process of writing my contribution. Yvonne and I have had a few laughs over the years, but this! I had no idea. Thanks for letting me know. Ulla::)))

The image is spectacular! The poem is a gentle form rendering the words tell us what a beautiful world we live in when the trees speak to us with their awesome colours, reminding us of love.

Lovely presentation with the beautiful artwork choice. The tone of your poem is so comforting. As we enter autumn, it's good to know we have our memories and that Heaven is showing us there is a brighter light up above. This is gracefully worded and the rhyme fits in smoothly. judi

You're welcome. Our fall festival has been canceled near where I live, but I think my husband and I could still go for a drive and take in the foliage and the covered bridges. judi

That sounds like a wonderful idea.

A verywell-written heartfelt poem and condolences for Yvonne and her loss. We can only offer our live and care to make the burden and grieving a little lighter.

Hello Pam.
This is a very sensitive graphic and Poem for Yvonne. She had mentioned her son to me a few times and I was quite surprised to read about his passing.
Thank you for your contribution to the book for her. It is meaningful and compassionate. It's hard to imagine going through a tragedy like this.

I feel sure Yvonne will love this sweet description of grief, loss--AND finding peace and comfort. The poem touches me. I will be attending my brother's funeral in just a few hours. I find comfort in knowing his soul is in Heaven.

A very beautiful tribute for loss of loved one. The flowers have lost their splendour the moon it's glow. That brighter light is up above . It's then we'll learn to trust and know. The gift of love still overflow. Very heavenly and breathtaking visual. Well done.

This is beautiful Pam Great rhyme, and clearly understandable. The part really liked was the last few lines. Are you doing a book of poems? This is very good.

Thank you for the exceptional rating and review, Willie. I appreciate your comments about the poem and sharing what you liked about it. I just published a book of stories and poems for children. This is a book begun by lyenochka for FS members to share our thoughts for others.

A lovely poem written for Yvonne in her tie of the immeasurable loss of her son, something every parent dreads the thought of. For me, your Poem shows that the gift of love stays with us though our loved one may be gone.
