Nice writing. Never actually looked at it that way before. Leaves fall. Maybe that's is why it is called fall. Very nice photo demonstrates how beautiful fall is.

Your lantern poem is creative and appealing. Mid-fall is my favorite time of the year--as far as nature and weather go. Your question is clever and
interesting.

Your words made me smile. Falling leaves - is this why autumn is called Fall? Excellent idea. I enjoyed your great artistic presentation; font and this amazing photo. You made me miss the East Coast, here; in Nevada, we don't get all the seasons; so your poem had a special effect on me.

This will made a great contender for this contest; good luck in the booths.

Yep! That's the reason and I enjoyed your colourful presentation as the vibrant colours produced by nature also warn us that Autumn is here, much enjoyed, love Dolly x

Nice visuals! Indeed--autumn is called fall for that very reason. Just as leaves are called leaves because we're supposed to leave them vs rake! Cheers. LIZ

Thank you, Liz, for your fine review. I'm glad you liked my visuals. That's a funny observation -- don't take the leaves; leave them alone! I love it! Cheers to you, too.

This poem has a good message about why the season Autumn is called Fall as evidently tree leaves fall this time; well said, well done; thanks for sharing this. ALCREATOR
