This is a sad tribute to your sister and I am so sorry for your loss and I am sorry she suffered. Your poem is heartbreaking and sad, as the petals fall so the flower dies, but stays in your heart, much enjoyed, love Dolly x

I am so sorry for your loss my friend. You did a great job writing from your heart. I can totally relate to you as I lost my sister in 1993 due to a freak accident in their home. May God bless you my friend. love and prayers, Teri

Thank you so much for your kind review. I am so sorry you lost your sister. I feel hollow inside and all that is left is prayer. At least she is at peace. Thank you Teri

I noticed nothing off with this amazing poem. I have six children and if and when one ever goes "missing" it will be deeply felt by all. We live for our get-togethers and it is never quite right when one is missing - which as they all age and grow it is hard to make such an event happen. My oldest facetime with my youngest, they are each others support group and BFF's. It makes me tear up now just thinking of it. Your gorgeous and amazing comparison of your sister to a hardy daisy really moved me. Your rhythm and use of rhyme! (amazing) is just a wow. I'm bookmarking this.

Thank you so much Margaret! This just happened two weeks ago, so I am still very raw. I am glad you have a large family, huge help during crises like these. I will miss her forever.

My sincere condolences, Terry, in the loss of your beloved sister (been there not that long ago and it still hurts). Your poem reads well and tells of your bond in a way that only sisters have and understand. There is good flow and rhymes. However, it is your outstanding message and outpouring of love for your sister that stands above everything else. Take care.
Respectfully, Jan

Dear Teresa, I am so sorry for your lost, I know what you are going through. I lost my dad due to that bad C too. Your poem is indeed from the heart and it's so beautifully written. I think your sister will have love it. "That daisy was my sister, now she's gone
I sometimes wonder how I will go on
She was brave, creative, generous, and smart.
And now that daisy grows within my heart." Thank you for sharing and good luck with your writings.

Oh how heartfelt! I can relate as I lost my brother. Most of all, your poem is a reminder of how fragile life is, but how we have wonderful things like beautiful flowers to remind us of our loved ones

Such a beautiful tribute, Terry. No doubt you all will miss her so much but her inspiringly strong and beautiful soul is free. Thank you for sharing about her and about your journey of grief - which we all can relate to. ð???ð???

Thank you so much. It only happened two weeks ago and my journey of grief is just starting. I cry at the drop of a pin, so I?m kind of glad we have to wear those annoying masks at the nursing home. I had six sisters, now I have five, and everything feels wrong.

This is a lovely, poignant tribute to your sister. Since I recently lost two brothers and I think I am about to lose my sister-in-law who is also my best friend, it really hits home with me. It is beautifully written and I thank you for sharing. I will try to let them all grow in my heart.

Thank you for the nice review. I fear that what you are facing is too much. I?ve had a lot of loss in the last 15 years and I felt as though this one would put me over the edge. I pray constantly, as I always have. This only happened two weeks ago so I am really in a terrible place. That is why I wrote this poem to myself. Please take care of yourself send me a note if you need to. I?m tired of pain and I?m sure you are too. Terry

Thank you for responding. Fortunately I still have one loving brother, a spouse, a son, daughter-in-law and grandchildren. So I keep trying to remind myself that I am blessed.
