This is beautiful. The way you describe the flowers makes me feel I can
see and small them. Your poem rhymes well and is very understandable.
I see no reason to correct anything. Very well done.

I don't know much about flowers, but looking at your pictures of hollyhocks I can see that they are quite nice. Your post reminded me of my late grandmother, toiling in her flowerbeds. Thank you for reviving those memories!

This is a beautiful garden displaying one of the plants that no garden should be without. The text provided a wonderful tribute to the Hollyhock, and its delights.
The ease of transmission by seeds explains why here in Europe we often find small clumps of the plant outside the garden, in sheltered corners down the paths and alleys we used to walk in normal times. It really us a most surprising plant.

Hello MRS. KT,
It's a nice piece of Biographical Poetry having impressive phraseology, enchanting flow throughout from the beginning to the end with lovely rhyming scheme, and transparently depicting its theme.
The last stanza is particularly noteworthy.
Picture and Video enhance depth and beauty of the poem.

That was really lovely, Diane, I love hollyhocks, too. I see this this is a true story, I think that wonderful, to pass the seeds down the generations. A permanent reminder of your loved ones. Your poem was beautiful, the swap line slipped in nicely, and the whole was a pleasure to read. Well done, my friend. :)) Sandra xx

I dearly love hollyhocks, my friend. I had some when I moved into my house many years ago. My ex killed them along with rhubarb and many perennials that were there when we moved in. One of the many reasons he became and ex. A beautiful poem and gorgeous artwork, my friend~Debbie

I really like the format that this poem is written in, it took me a while to work out what was going on, I think because it flowed and moved so rhythmically I didn't spot it at first. Some wonderful language used to help describe what is going on, and the last few lines about passing on the joy I really like, too.

This is beautiful, and it reminds me of my grandmother, who also loved hollyhocks. You write about something that is so familiar; yet it leaves many wonderful memories. You remind us that these traditions are carried on through generations. Thus, the hollyhocks live as well as the memories. Excellent job with your swap lines. They fit in so smoothly in each stanza. Lovely picture of the hollyhocks. judi
