You have truly said a lot in only six words! Patience is something we all really need in life, even though it seems impossible at the best of times! Great job with this one!

Yvette,
This is a remarkable 6 word poem entry. I read it several times. It had a certain calming effect on me.
Then I read your notes/shout-out. So, not saying that I'm one of these people, but I'll just sit here waiting....patiently.... for your reply. ;)
Blessings and stay well sweet friend,
Beth

Patience is that virtue that I must have been out-to-lunch for when they were passing them out at birth...LOL! :) But, hey, compared to my students who are used to that 'immediate gratification', I could be queen... or maybe princess... yeah, okay, perhaps dutchess - lol! ;) ;) ;) So glad you enjoyed this one, Beth! ;)

Beautiful poem, Yvette. A poem using both sight and sound "images" is beautiful and harmonious. I also like the colorful art work! Very well done. Good luck in the contest

My, my, this is a very wise Yvette, but yes indeed, the man who waits in silent anticipation ,is indeed the one who will succeed in life, they possess faith, like in Isaiah 40:31. Beautifully written, good luck, blessings Roy

Vette,

Aaawwwwww.. Shucks, chickie. We've only known each other a wee bit. It's ain't necessary to get the tissues out and have an all-out squawller yet.

But, on the 'tother hand... I can't argy how remarkable I am. Nor can I say I ain't impressed my mark upon a myriad of souls... so meybe this is warranted.

Hmmm... Aw, go on. Ode away! I'm humble enough to let you!

And enjoy it, too. *smile*

Go ahead.

No. Really.

Get to writing.

Now.

Like. RIGHT ..... now.

So...... have anything yet?

No worries. Just asking. Wouldn't pry for the life of me.

Love you!

Now?

Ugh.

Are you really a writer?

Come ON!

SOMEthing!

Fine.

I'll give you a bit.

Check back in three minutes.

bye--

Okay - you are hiliarious.... :) :) :) you know, at first I couldn't figure out what in the heck you were trying to say here... and then, duh!, the blonde let go and understanding kicked in!! ;) And now I'm still grinnin' like a loon -- thanx for that!! ;) Yeah, patience is NOT a virtue I've ever known ... raising my boys really showed me that I had more than I thought, but I still swear that I was on a break or even a chocolate run when St. Peter was handing them out...! LOL! ;) And thanx for the really fun review, crazy bud! ;) Enjoy your weekend!! ;) Yvette

Yvette,

It is always a pleasure to read your verses (especially the short one's ... LOL).

Since you chose to capitalize 'A, ' might you place a period after your six word poem?

Mark

I don't believe in punctuation in the shorter forms unless VERY necessary.... I don't want the thought/premise of my poem to END at the end (which is what a period implies) - I want the reader to carry my thoughts with them, or at least continue with the thoughts it provoked in them... Blonde poet's personal preference, I suppose. ;) :) :)

    Noted! A good point for blonde?s ending of the short verse (-;

Haha, so why start with a cap
    ?!?

You're welcome to my patience LOL. This is an interesting picture and a good use of 6 word restriction. I wish you luck in the contest with your 'deep' poetry
