What marvellous advice to provide for others, the bread of Heaven is a feast indeed. It feeds the sound, and stirs the embers of faith, our hunger should never go without it, it is life for those that eat of it. Well done, good luck, blessings, Roy

Well done

I like the poem - the last line I think might be smoother. I wonder if you could say "heavenly manna God sends" - same syllable count. The whole of your poem tho - is so true. Good job.

Excellent it approves the source of the context by good congruity and a motion delivering a smooth delivery of the voice which lifts the sentiment to an elevated position of a grand utopia.

Comment from Susan Larson
You very skillfully condensed four significant passages from the Bible into a mere seven syllables, ten words. God's Word, Manna from Heaven, always available for our spiritual nourishment. Taste and see that the Lord is good. Good contest entry.

This is a fine piece of poetry dear anonymous! I love the spiritual point of view. I am slightly jealous for your faith as I lack somehow the courage.
Thank you for sharing!
Good luck!
Blessings and a humongous hug-it-out hug!

I really try to remind myself every day to trust nit in my own wisdom, but that of God's. Proverbs 3:5, 6. The Bible was written for a reason and it is up to us to feed on this Manna from heaven. It will guide us through life's storms and challenges.

Hello anon, a well written 3/5/7 poem, true to form and the wording is very good. These short forms are not easy with so few syllables but you have said a lot with so few words. Well done and Good Luck in the contest. Warm regards Dorothy x

Your words in this short 5-7-5 poem reflect what is said in the Bible very well. Trust in God, and you will receive. You must have faith though, trust and faith go hand in hand. Well done, and good luck in the contest. :)) Sandra xx
