Wow. I'm impressed you knowing the difference in Euros and American dollars Tony. How many ransoms have you involved with. Well done, you have a great ability with story telling my friend, your ability to remember what you've written and recall it when necessary is quite impressive. Well done, poetic justice for Ash. They sink the boots in. Well done, blessings, Roy

Thanks, Roy. I did a bit of research on Google. Using the largest denomination US note, you can only fit one million in a briefcase. That?s why the euro is apparently the drug runner?s currency of choice. Europe has now withdrawn the 500-euro note because of it, but they still have a 200-euro note. Two million euros would weigh 4.4 Kg - a bit too heavy for hand luggage! I doubt I?ll ever be faced with the problem!

Well done, once again. More culture and beliefs and stuff. Not forgetting your great way with drama and so on. I did anticipate the mention of rabes as far as the dog was concerned. No spags.

Thank you very much for your encouragement, Geoffrey , and for the sixth star. As is so often the case, you?ve made my day. All good wishes, Tony.

Describing her looks by "The light from the hurricane lamp" -- very visual!
"Mozama's dog wagged his tail as if he liked that idea." Taking the dog's side of a fight... hahhaha
"You think I'm here to do Jeanne Durand's bidding. That's true only so long as our interests coincide. ... " The enemy of my enemy ... Not a trusted comrade.
Enjoyed!

This get more intriguing and now it's more personal than some espionage plot. Hoping that Helen is alright. It's poetic to have Kayla and Helen to revisit the grave and take their oath of vengeance.
I see the dog has much more a role to play. I don't think dogs are allowed inside a Muslim house but maybe they are not practicing Muslims?

Thanks, Helen. I appreciate your comments. The Kalash people have a more primitive religion than Islam. Somewhat similar to Celtic beliefs. Muslim extremists are doing all they can to convert them. Not many left now.

Oh, I see. There are definitely some native people groups in Asia that are close to dogs. Glad you took that into account.

You did a good job with this chapter, Tony. Things are starting to wrap up. I understand where Kayla is coming form in her actions. You did a good job describing the burial plots. Thanks for sharing. Respectfully, Jan

Hi Tony, I haven't read this story before, though I have seen it often. 106 Chapters! You have been working on this for quite some time now! Well, I chose an interesting chapter to take up, I got some interesting information, that's for sure! I didn't see any errors, I haven't got any suggestions to make. Well written :)

That was so exciting, with a bit of humour with the dog. I had to laugh at that. Dogs know who's a friend and who's a foe. This one got it right! Lol. Well, we now know Kayla is on the same quest as her sister, revenge, and with good reason. I would be the same had it been my parents. Now then, Jeane has her reasons for keeping Helen alive, but I bet they are much different to Charles'. Exellent again! :)) Sandra xx

This is one of your best chapters so far. I enjoyed the interaction between the characters, including the dog. Ash has been too quiet to be trusted and having him roughed up a bit, most of it his own doing, was satisfying. I liked the background Kayla reveals. It feels like things ar moving forward.
Inter sting about the money. Who knew a million US dollars wouldn't fit in a standard brief case.

I enjoyed reading another well written chapter in your book. Sounds like the tension is building until they contact Helen again. The sisters sound like they will remain tight in their quest for revenge.
