Necking! Haven't seen that in a story in quite awhile. Barbara--I always enjoy your posts. Professionally edited and written in a style that can't help but zip you reader through. Well done. Bill

A lot of times a detective's gut instinct is right. I'm just glad no one was hurt. Your chapter is well-written, very interesting start to finish. Your characters seem realistic. Although I haven't been keeping up with the storyline, it was really easy to jump in understand what's going on.

I think this is an excellent part/chapter. The story is clear and well told. The characters are nicely portrayed and appear to be staying true.
I will be looking back to previous chapters to see where this started.

A great chapter. I do believe people can have premonitions that something bad will happen, the way Logan did. Then they find out that Bill's car has exploded. They find that Mac's house has been bugged, too. Even with police protection, it seems that she isn't safe, and now her godfather was targeted. I've even started to suspect Mitch. Maybe he and Parks are working together. Certainly the police haven't been very effective. Lots of excitement building. Things have to be getting to Mac, all the attempts on the lives of Mac and those close to her. judi

Hello Barb
You do quite well making your story exciting to read, and wonder what is going to take place; like Bill's car exploded.
I'm still wondering how and when will they will know the security actually does work.

Hi Barbara, I'm so glad to be back on the train, so to speak... What in the name of explosions everywhere! I thought for sure that it would take longer than that for them to come for those bugs... in the glove compartment were they? (I'm hoping they were in his pocket!) ;)

What a great dramatic climax. Good reading again. Only one possible spag I let go in the last chapter as well. In the Intro with end of last chapter, I saw this before but did not offer a suggestion for change...of a bu[d](g?) detector?

I think this is well written. I like the way it flows and continues to balance dialogue with action. Only found one little letter in a word that was off here: "Can you get a hold of a bud detector?
I think you mean 'bug' and not 'bud.' Unless, of course, at least one of the bugs was hidden in flowers somewhere.

Wonder why they bomber Bills car? Maybe they figured he knew something? Everyone is in constant danger. Good thing Logan is with McKenzie.
