I thought this was a great example of a Pleiades. It had a good flow and rythme to it. The posted image matched up perfectly as well. I thought all of it together, worked nicely, to bring us to the climactic end of finally getting up the nerve to ask her for a dance. leaves one hoping she said, yes.

Looks like your poem has all that was asked for in the contest prompt. Every line begins with the same letter in which the title begins. And the sentences match. I've read so many that I swear they don't even make sense! Good luck with the contest!
