Melissa,
Very nice imagery in words and artwork - perfectly matched! Methinks you will garner many votes in this contest. Obviously, you have already achieved the 'recognized' status from the FS community.
Yes, moonlight kisses are nice in nature and in life (-;

What a beautiful picture and a lovely way to think about the moon. A concept I've never thought about before. Your poem is well-written. Your great word choice paints a vivid image in the reader's mind.

This is a gorges picture and your connective words make it all a wonderful entry in the one line poem contest. I'm a very picture-orientedkind of person and I can see why this one is the one you chose to use. Best wishes!

Gosh! It seems close enough to clean its teeth on the twigs. We are coming up to a full moon now and it should be really good tonight if the weather stays as clear is it is now. Last night there was quite a bit of cloud so the moon was being a tad bashful and playing peek-a-boo.

-Very nice image, Melissa.
-A good topic for your monostich.
-The imagery is effective, along
with personification.
-You show the romantic
nature of the moon as
it "kisses the earth."
-Usually, the monostich is
one line; not one sentences.
-You could try reducing your font size.
-Good luck in the contest.

Thank you, Pam. I appreciate the note that explained the mono stitch is supposed to be one line vs. one sentence. I have always wondered about that.

A very well-written one-line poem about the moonlight that comes down to earth at night to give the trees a supple kiss. An amazing photo to complement your one-line poem.

Yes, this is a beautiful entry for the One Line poem contest. A wonderful picture to add to the effect this short piece has. I don't know why I even bothered to enter with your entry to contend with... sigh. ~DDxxxxxx (to act as six stars).

What a great, descriptive response to the one-line poem prompt. I think you'll do well in the contest. I saw the prompt and wished I could write something this good. When I read this, I get a picture of a beautiful night in the country woods, with a big, yellow moon.

This is very nice, Melissa. Your one-line poem is well described in just a few words and the image is dramatic and striking. A fine accompaniment. Best of luck in the contest. Marilyn
