Hi Tony, I liked your poem a lot and you do have a way with words that makes your poem so beautiful to read. It's a pleasant surprise away from your great story. All the best. Ulla:))

Hi Tony. So good to see you back at other writing in addition to your ongoing novel "The
French Letter"
Your way with words is outstanding, like these lines for instance:
"A bidding to fare well,
as blow the winds into
the fleeting sails
of friendship."
Bravo, my friend. Bob

How lovely this is, Tony. Your poetry is layered with wonder. It is necessary for me to read it several times to take it all in. The beginning is always the lure for me and yours was no exception. " I have wandered in dark places, and sought reflection in silent pools bathed in moonlight,"
Sending you my best today as always,

Beautiful poem. Love it. Such wonderful words. I see that you live in Australia. The country looks so gorgeous there. I would stay away from some of your wild animals if I would visit.

What a lovely review, and thanks very much for the five stars. I haven?t been writing much poetry recently and am delighted that you enjoyed this one. Best wishes, Tony.
No crocodiles around here but one or two venomous snakes to avoid!

A wonderful poem depicting the source of much wisdom and many great thoughts. So much can be gleaned, at times, from solitude and meditation. Almost like building castles in the sand. Lovely!

Your poetry is always magnificent. This is no exception. Each word is perfect in itself.
I had to read it twice to understand better, but that's because I'm not great at poetry myself.
Thanks for sharing.

Comment from Gloria ....
What a beautifully atmospheric poem this is. I can imagine being there hearing the ethereal music, the reflections in the pools far outside the realm of the Earthly world.
You do up a free verse really nice, Tony so I hope to read more of them from you. :)

I?m basking in the warmth of your generous comments. I haven?t written much poetry recently, but must get back to it. It?s my first love, but I?m determined to get the perishing novel finished, just to prove to myself that I can.
Comment from Gail Denham
A nice poem - must be a form of some kind - enjoyed reading this. It seems there are multiple layers to your poem - having to do with friendship - dreams - visions even.

Comment from Pam (respa)
-This is an excellent
poem, Tony, that
doesn't require any artwork.
-The imagery is very good,
and there is a smooth flow of ideas.
-It is also reflective, as indicated
in the first verse.
-I like how you describe what
you found in these places-
"the truth in dreams" and "faerie land."
-The conclusion is very good, too,
and ends with the same reflective
mood as the beginning.
-I enjoyed seeing your poetry.
