My kind of animal interest story. It's well written except that I'm confused by the last paragraph when you seem to have gotten out of the car without mentioning it. Perhaps you could clarify within the word limit.

Due to words limitation, I cut it out of the story. Have to stay within the guidelines.

Suggest you delete "I was" at the beginning and start "On my way ... I ...". Last paragraph could start " I parked but this dog blocked the road and would not allow me to go past him. I spoke kindly to the dog to move do I could enter; he did ... Four words removed - "I was" and "pass through" And four words added - "I parked, but" and " enter".

If there's time before the voting hope you can amend your appealing story.
