Hi Anon, this is really very good. You have written a descriptive piece in only seven words that reveal so much. Not easy to get a message across with so few words. Good Luck in the contest. Regards Dorothy

This seven-word poem, Roadmaps, says a lot in a few words. Laugh lines and sorrow furrows can be baked together on a world-worn countenance.

I enjoyed your contest entry, Mystery Author. Good job with your 7 well-chosen words and perfect picture. Your title makes readers think one thing, but your words show a different story about the word 'roadmaps.--clever. Thanks for sharing and best wishes. Jan

Great title. Great brevity. Great presentation. A strong contender for my vote. It's hard to convey much with seven words. You did, and with three alliterated letters to boot! Bravo.
Warmly, rd

Wow! You put all of that into seven words! But they fit perfectly! Crows feet and furrowed brows deeply carved into a face perfectly shows the roadmaps of a life! They are roadmaps to the heart as well!

I didn't think you could pack so much into so few words. Very well done on that regard.
Besides that, I liked what you had to say. You are very intuitive.

Indeed it does leave clues. I've seen people grow older overnight after a traumatic event.
They say we should be proud of our wrinkles... I don't know if I totally agree.
Thanks for sharing and good luck in the contest.

Well done! I thought this was clever,
concise, thoughtfully done, and
truly meaningful.
I admire anyone who can make a sensible, gripping poem
using only seven words.
Good luck in this contest. I think you'll do well.

You did it and I voted for this entry. It is pithy and clever and wry...and human! Far and away the best entry in this contest in my opinion! Karenina
