What an amazing story about the girl's father taking you into his family. Your father was not the best of men, but you ended up with a wonderful "father" because your real one left.

I'm surprised you wrote in this prompt dear Patty. My mum was 4' 10" but would terrify ruffian boys playing up on public transport, I don't know how she didn't get beat up herself. Yes, I don't like it when little girls don't have doting dad, apparently girls obtain self esteem from their dads, according Dr. Hobson,author and Christian psychiatrist. Wow, I will give it a shot on your two truths and a lie question. The lie is, A, you spent 40 semesters in college. I would think these means as a student. If you are 4'9" then I am a foot taller than you at 5'9". I will be your tall friend. My younger sister is 5'2". She wears four inch heels regularly. It must be nice to wear high heels and not look like Basketball Jones.

Hi, Sally - no, I actually attended 40 semesters of college. I hold several degrees including an MBA and a Law degree.

I finally reached five foot when I joined the Army. But at my last physical, I have shrunk down to 4'11 3/4"
