I love your quotation about books: "Books fall open and you fall in." That happens to me when I read a James Patterson (and whoever else the co-author is.) I can't put them down once I get started. It is fun to get to know people other than just their writing, though I have learned a lot that way too, some I'd rather not know, only because it is so sad! So it is nice to see fun stuff. Haiga are haiku/senryu with pictures.
