This is a wonderful response to the prompt. In 50 words, you have delivered a bit of history, while absolutely stirring my heart.
What a wonderful reunion, and you've captured it in this story.

A lovely tale and, despite the image, I was genuinely caught out by the subjects being elephants (maybe a sign I should be thinking about going to bed :) ).
I'm genuinely impressed you were able to pick a twist into such a short tale.
Best of luck in the contest, a very good entry.
Take care.

Thanks so much and really I debated on the pic because I wanted there to be an element of surprise so I am so pleased. You got it just right, my friend.

This is a touching story about a sensuous response in loving creatures. It makes a person think about how the attraction we sometimes have to animals outer than human could be considered perverse.

This is a fine story and entry for the contest
It's hard to do much in fifty words,
but you managed to convey the tale of Ethel and Phillip
Elephants don't forget, neither do people.
Well done
Good luck in the contest
