A lovely tale and, despite the image, I was genuinely caught out by the subjects being elephants (maybe a sign I should be thinking about going to bed :) ).

I'm genuinely impressed you were able to pick a twist into such a short tale.

This is a fine story and entry for the contest
It's hard to do much in fifty words,
but you managed to convey the tale of Ethel and Phillip
Elephants don't forget, neither do people.
