'And every year we worry not,
for we found out that day,
that Jesus will take care of us
because of Christmas Day. '

Thank Santa, thank Jesus, heck thank Sponge Bob, that there are decent people in the world. That charity lives on in some people's hearts and minds.
This is a great poem of a true story and I really enjoyed it, both the downs and the ups. Wishing you and yours the best of the season!

a nice rhyming Christmas poem with an appropriate picture and seasonal color. I liked your little poem as it told a complete story that had a ring of truth-mysterious things sometimes happen at the holidays

This poem is brilliant-the rhyme, the rhythm, the joyful story and cheery red Christmas atmosphere! I'm so glad you realized where all blessings come from, and that you've retained this positive theme in your life. I wish you continued blessings this Christmas and always. Brenda.

Miracles DO happen even today, Lois.
At least I believe that to be true.
They may be small and go relatively unnoticed. But the recipients and the beneficiaries of these miracles don't think they're all that small.
Like the two bicycles that showed up of of the blue for you one Christmas day.
Lovely poem, very well written.
Thanks so much for sharing it with us all.
Merry Christmas to you and your family.

Lois, this is a lovely poem for the Christmas poetry contest. It speaks well of the magic associated with Christmas. We had years as we were raising out family that there was not much money for gifts, but was always managed to have some special gifts for each of the girls. They were not as expensive as are the techno gifts of today.
