Hello Michael. I would have never gotten it out. I can't read my own "Strong Enough to Get it Done" without balling like a whimpering baby. I thought you did a beautiful job both in song and verse. So damn sorry for your loss of friend. xoxo deborah

Hey, Deborah
I just take a deep breath and write. It's kind of a drag being the poet sometimes, yes? Oh well, it's usually kind of cool though.
Thanks so much. I'm pleased I did her some justice. A nice gal. mike

you go and give it all you have in honor of her life and passing. Excellent piece in honor of the memory and something we dare not forget. Nicely done. Will you read this? I hope so.

So pleased you thought this was worthy. Thanks so much, dear friend. mike

I never knew robert plant sang the rose? I always thought you looked like robert plant.

All that's left is a single rose
A fond memory of the past
The greatest memory when love grows
Knowing it will always last
A single rose is all that's left
To remind me of our love
This sad sight, leaves me bereft
You are all I'm thinking of
I'll never pick that single rose
Your fragrance reminds me of you
My only memory I suppose
Of when I said I do
Now your gone and left me now
Loneliness spreads its cloud
But I make this solemn vow
A single tear is still allowed

Someone stuck an old cassette recorder out when I sang at another funeral. :)) Thus, the poor quality. I MUST figure out how to do some decent recording. BUT, I'm pleased you found this worthy and I thank you for your kind words and support.
Hey, you're posting the great poem, yes? Or have you already? Great piece. mike

I posted it yesterday and dedicated the inspiration from your poem. I hope you didn't mind

My heart goes out to you on your loss. This piece is emotive. Excellent because for me it does all I want from good poetry. It was beautiful, clear, poignant. It made me think and feel. It introduced me to someone elses experiences in a way I could relate to. It gave me a glimpse into the beautiful soul of the author. It contained no spag. It is a piece I will remember. One I want to remember. Thank you for sharing this piece.

This is such a sad write you have done about your friend Katy. You used very good and heartfelt wording. The art work you chose was great too. I wish I could listen to what you have on here but I can't right now. My speakers don't work. May God bless you Mike! Teri

Thanks so much, Teri. I'm so pleased you enjoyed. The song sounds just like Bette Midler EXCEPT it isn't anywhere near as good. HAHAHA!!!! Blessings to you as well, mike

Oh, Michael, not again. I am so sorry for your loss. I know these things hit you harder than you let on. This is touching and beautiful. Your friend would most honored. Pleas be smart and do what the doctors are telling you, okay. I hate telling you this, but you mean a lot to me and a lot of other people. Hehehe. I never thought I would lecture you. Take care. NG

Doctors? What do they know? Okay, I know, I know. Don't worry. You sound like my mommy. Whew ... kinda hot. LOL Should we finally risk our friendship. Cool how inappropriate I can be, yes? I mean a lot to other people? Who? Anyone stacked? I mean, ahem, with a nice personality?
Thanks woman. I'm okay. This one wasn't a surprise. Always a kind of shock, but I knew, ya know. michael
