I a so sorry you and Louise have had such a hard time of it lately. How terrible that those that offered help stopped when Louise wasn't able to assist them...how selfish. I look forward to hearing more about how you and Louise are doing. So good to hear from you again.

Hi, Sankey.
I am sorry to read of all your problems. Ageing with disabilities is not easy. Louise obviously usually does all the cooking and laundry, so her absence has left you floundering. It's good that people helped cater with meals--very thoughtful of them.
Suggestion:
Ususally, numbers under 10 are written in words; example: two wonderful paramedics came
two more paramedics
the Ambulance and 2 wonderful paramedics came.
to lift on their own so they called 2 more paramedics

we ended up with a LIfting Device
we ended up with a Lifting Device / smal 'i'

I hope Louise is on the road to recovery.

Thank you for sharing your trials and tribulations in part one of Louise's story. I have autoimmune diseases and can relate to some of her problems, and my husband has the beginings of cataracts with limited night vision like you. Here's to more placid days ahead- Joan

At seventy four and a life time cripple, I can sympathize with you and your wife. The thing that bothers me is often I get a new personal care giver who doesn't look at my record before commanding me to do things I am unable to do. I still have a bit of mobility left but not much. My prayers go out to you and your wife.

Thanks Bro, yeah as I said to one of the favourite carers only last night. Some of them come and stand around waiting for us to give them instructions! Hopeless. We got rid of the ex Nurses they were the worst. 3 more chapters coming.
