A very well-written acrostic poem. Einstein definitely know what makes a woman extra special. The ones who stand alone with confidence against all other.

I loved your poem. It speaks to all women eager to move beyond conformity and ready to explore new horizons. I especially liked the lines "opening her arms to the stars, mysteriously connected to the earth." Very nice acrostic!

Nice poem. I enjoyed your imagery and flow. I liked your ending, "Nothinf compares", simple but powerful. Thanks for sharing and have a great day!

Hi Jackarrie
Nice acrostic poem for women. And I like the picture you chose to go with it. Reminds me of an episode from "Frasier"... season 5 episode 19
Caitlin, played by actress Lisa Edelstein, is a sex-obsessed artist and member of the Lycanthrope Society, a group of women who believe that the moon controls their cycles. Caitlin opens the bedroom window and howls at the full moon. This really freaks Frasier out until she drops her robe. It's so funny, and I'm sure Kelsey and Lisa barely made it through the scene without cracking up. She currently plays Rachel McCord on the TV series, "Castle". Great actress!
That's what came to my mind anyway, as I read your poem. It fits your wonderful description perfectly. If I had a six-star left, I'd offer it.
Well said! And good luck in the contest! This should be a contender.

cheers
Kimbob

Hi Mary;
-I really enjoyed your acrostic poem and I thought that it was very effectively written in terms of the conceptual theme Which was very intent on having the reader believe a woman's life is so nicely compared to your with her spiritual feelings and tendency of love. Phew! Another run-on sentence!
-Really great use of enjambement which held the story and conceptual theme Perfectly understandable throughout the reading Without a hiccup.
-Thanks for sharing and take care and good luck in the contest Mary.

A great acrostic poem that packs a powerful message. The Nothing compares is an apt last line. The image you chose also displays attitude, which is great. Few want to read mediocre sentiment.

Thank you for posting this and good luck with the competition :-)

Hi, Mary. Your free verse acrostic presents a positive portrayal of 'woman' - nurturing, wise, connected, mysterious - certainly above he mundane.

This passes my acrostic test, which is whether the poem still sounds natural, despite the restriction of the initial letters.

Good luck.

Steve
