Nice cosmos imagery in a Hubble moment
with excellent space-time connection
excellent beginning in the end

This is so wonderful indeed. I'm rating it as a poem not a Haiku since it has a picture. This is really great stuff. I so very much enjoyed it and love the planet idea. More please.

Most of the haiku entries on this site have associated pictures, I believe. To be honest, I'd be happiest if no poems at all had pictures, then they would be assessed on the merit of their words - but that isn't the way this site goes :)
Thank you for the kind words, they're much appreciated.

OOOOh, I like this haiku. Your picture is wonderful with it also. a star is born is a wonderful finish and the whole background of the protoplanet material and Orion's sword. This is a grand little piece of big writing.

Craig,
I love you poem and enjoyed your author notes as well.
I hear that the ancients always focused on Orion. So
intriguing.
Your haiku entry is outstanding. Your satori shines brightly.
So cool!

Thanks for the lovely review, Linda. I guess hunters were popular in ancient times :) Much appreciated, Craig.

Maybe they were on to something that we are just now figuring out.

Dear CD,
Men have watched and wondered at the heavens ever since they started walking on two feet. Your poem reminds us that the stars still elicit wonder.
Warm regards,
Winslow
