I do not think I have read anything by him. I like Dick Francis so, if he is anything like him, I'm in lol. I enjoyed this witty tale very much. I liked the poem and it made me smile. Thank you for sharing.

Thanks dmt I think we have met before. Look for RonCraig I think that should work. I have loved his dramas. Clever at getting us all worked up worried something is gonna fall apart then bring in a solution to it all.

They used to say, in industrial communications, no adjectives, no adverbs. In prose they have to be used with caution. If they are right, they are great. If not, ouch.
Yes, they should be used. Excellent tribute to a writer.

A great tribute to a fellow fandtorian, and lauding his obvious success as a successful author, it's good to see you honouring another colleague, in expressive, articulate language, nicely written and delicately scribed, well done my friend Geoff, blessings, Roy

Even with an odd error a work can still be enjoyed for the contents that brings a message. If an obvious mistake draw my attention I will mention it but never penalize.

Nah I don't penalize either. Some weirdos don't understand the reviewing points system and there are a few real professional types with NO compassion. Thanks for the great review. A lot of folks like what I have said about dear old Ron.

Maybe I shouldn't have even reviewed this poem of yours, for I had a very hard time getting interested or excited about anything in it. It must be very personal? It is written well, and there is no problem with spags, but, I am sorry, just not interested. Tony Bronk

Hi Tony sorry. I guess it is hard if you don't know the subject of the poem. Ron Craig is a fanstastic writer and fellow member of Fanstory. A lot of us enjoy his Novels. He is up o about his third novel now I think. I have reviewed a lot of his stuff and he is quite amenable to my suggestions and spag pickups. Sorry you are not interested. Glad you didn't mark me down for it.
-
I wouldn't mark you down for it because you didn't write anything wrong. You wrote the poem well, and it was a personal thing, that is all. No reason to mark down. Tony Bronk

No worries. If you have not read Ron's stuff you need to mate. He is GOOD! If you are into Novels of course. If you are strictly into poetry well whatever. cheers.

Interesting. Hemingway was one who like writing in long sentences. Also, I read a lot of old novels from the 17th and 18th century. They also use long sentences, compound sentences, and run on sentences. Does this writer go by his own name or does he use a moniker of FS?
I really like reading Mastery...have you read his work?

Yeah Love Bob as well. Will point you to Ron Craig. have bought several of his e-books on Amazon. Good reading all the time.
One person said they would not follow Ron because of my follow up to her review. I dunno whether I misunderstood her?? HEEH!!

This poem is very well written, giving praise to another FanStory member. There is very good imagery and descriptive scheme, making for an easy read.

This was a clever and interesting piece. I enjoyed the back story (authors comments)
I love the fact the author even created his own term. A good read

Hey Geoff,
As my key spagtologist and trusted source for shining a huge spotlight on errors that have slipped through in my writing, an effort I attribute to your desire to help, I accept this poem of balancing successes and disappointments along our path together, a path of many years.
I will admit you have done very well bringing this poem together in rhyme and cadence. And I accept some credit for the fire lit under your backside to write, maybe not thrilled it was spurred by a negative reaction to my exploring new writing styles, but the result, your writing is what counts.
Your mate,
Ron
