LOL! Dad cared about roaches? Surely he was kidding. But the others... not too far from our house, not that there was punishment involved. We never kill a bug or spider if we can catch it and toss it outside. Except for two kinds--flies and mosquitoes. Bugs are people too, at least for this challenge. :)

HAAAAAAAHAHAHA! I loved the optical illusion at the end and the idea that every girl who read the last line could easily see around the trick and shout the proper word out in her head. I can still hear it echoing. LOL
Great piece in quick time too. We're really getting good at this stuff. Perfect rhyme and meter and complete domination of the female mind. Excellent. mikey

Thanks, Mikey :) I didn't feel quite so out of my depth with this form, but I'm dreading what Phyllis will throw at us next! Craig

Old dad and his blossoming ego. Excellent potlatch entry. I admire those who can think limerick...My attempts get all clubfooted...cheers!

Hello author very good and great how you rhymed each of you bug poems with humor
I will say this one is the best

A silly young girl named Sheree
Stepped onto a poor honey bee
Her mother was sad
"Girl, you are so bad"
"Tonight there's no honey for thee!"

Hahaha! I guess I would eternally go without honey and butter and flowers, then! hahaha -- Mean and cruel people depriving the good people who KILL/SLAUGHTER/ PULVERIZE the yucky bugs! Shame!

Hilarious! One of those occasions where a stroke of genius has occurred to spice up the grand finale! I love these limericks that break free from their chains!

Haaaaaaaa, love the surprise ending, Craig. Now that right there is the start of a new trend--free verse Limericks. Weeeeeeee.

No more flowers? Boo hoo.

Super job with this and remember to put your clickable link in the forum so everyone can have a reviewing extravaganza.

EXLINT!
