What a fun poem in that it starts with a feeling of distress that so many of us have encountered--and ends with the sense of hope that fills the morning and the night. A nice way to describe the importance of human contact.
A suggestion -- consider removing the comma between "Up pops a message" as I didn't sense a natural pause after "up" -- but more of a distraction from the poem's rhythm.

The tone of the poem conveys the message and it's consistent throughout. I find no faults in this poem and I admire the choice of form or style you adopted here. Excellent rating well deserved. Good stuff.

That is a magnificent piece of art, Missy.
The image it brings up when I read it is fond memories. The times when we are so down on life or ourselves and a simple text can change the very outlook on a given situation.
Beautifully written girl.

You have caught the magic of the message. Whoever the sender was he just happend to get the timing absolutely right. Timing is half the battle and so often there is nothing the message writer can do about it. This is a beautifully descriptive little piece. The description of the storm is brilliant ant then into its chaos pops the message.

Dummy me. I read the title as "Five Little Words" so I went into it with that expectation. I loved it as I read it waiting for the five words and then, bam! Five letters... Nicely done!

Hi, Missy. It's been a long time since I've seen a post from you? This more than makes up for the lull, though. This poem has a sort of meloncholy feel about it. I caan picture a scene with that lonely person getting such a message to brighten their night or day.
Bravo! Good job. Bob

A nicely written poem that expresses how our heart leaps when we hear from the one(s) we love. These are especially wonderful lines:
"Oh my love
The power of the written word
My soul on fire
With just five little letters ... "hello"
Suddenly the day holds
Promise"
