This is a fine comment on the topic of this contest. It is obviously intended to remind us of the parable of the good Shepherd who searches diligently for the lost sheep, and it achieves this aim.

Good imagery hear for so few words depicting innocence in full glory, both in your image and what it represents. There is something so beautiful concerning a lamb and a shepherd and more so, a mother and child.
Beautiful.
Good luck in the competition.
Best wishes,
RGstar

This is a wonderful 5-7-5 and the picture
you use to convey your message is perfect.
I was trying to understand if it were your
hand that left mom's and you became the lost sheep.
Just curious. -Bill

yes, this really happened but it was my grandmother instead of mom. I did get lost in church but a very nice lady walked me to my house. Thank you for the review.

What an awesome and poignant 5-7-5. So much emotion you have captured in so few syllables. Presenting the lost child in lieu of the sheep evokes much stronger emotions. I have both, children and sheep so I understand.

spiritual 5-7-5 about Christ's love in the innocence of children. Well described and articulated in the thirteen brief words. Powerful imagery. Well done

Seems to count out syllable wise, and to satisfy the prompt lost-wise, so as an amateur judging where he has no expertise, I pronounce this post excellent.

When Mary asked him where he'd been, Jesus responded, "Didn't you know that I'd be in my Father's house?" This poem reminded me a lot of this passage from the Bible. Thank you for sharing.

This is a beautiful 5-7-5 poem. One of my favorite hymns in the church is 'The Ninety-nine' The picture painted in the hymn speaks to my heart as there was a time He left the flock to bring me back into the sheep fold. Patricia

A heavy religious tone. Like the whole set up, and how it leads to the third line. Shows we all need some kind of guidance. Wonderfully written. Les

No, Not meant to be heavy religious. The getting lost at church when I was a child is true. My mother was very religious and took me to church on Sundays. I am more of a spiritual person, interfaith, but I think Jesus Christ was an awesome teacher and prophet. I like the parable. Thank you for the review :)

This 5-7-5, Little Hand in Mom's, does a nice job of pairing the idea of the parable of the lost sheep with God's protection of even the smallest. Good job with this.
