I have read your poem and I like the flow and content. It was difficult to finally have it end because I would have liked it to have been longer. But I know it fits a poetry form. I have looked your picture over many times and think the elf is in the middle of the largest white flower. So to embarrass myself I just went back and found you explained where it is. I feel really good that I found it on my own. Great poem, great job.

I see the little guy hiding there. Cute little fellow. What makes it possible for any of us to see him is a very human trait called pareidolia. It is said that most of us have this ability. I like your poem. It has a touch of humor and is well done. No awkward phrasing in this one.
I did see what I think might be an error--
Will you dain (deign) to grant some riches,

I like this and that it lifts a grin and further looking, and a surprise, perhaps leading one further. And, all adding and enhancing the life of such a bouquet. Especially when complemented by such a lovely photograph with its significance. And the pink background and white lettering inspire my journey too. As do all your literary details. A big thank you, well done. Blessings, Maureen*&*

This is a fun write
a little masquerade
at the poetry party
hiding in plain sight
within a bouquet and a poem
that rhymes well and reads easily
with its eight syllables
Excellent photograph to match the poem
Well done and fun

This is delightful. No messing around with are they or are they not, in this piece the little people are definitely acknowledged. The white flower does show an impish little face peeping out, and if they would only stop flitting around for a moment, I am sure I would be able to see others there too. Dear little poem, lovely picture for artwork Well done cheers Cass

Oh this is fun. Yes I see him in there, and I thought it was only pansies that had the smiling faces. This is one of those poems as you say of mixed meter and yet ican be read aloud withou trouble. It has a rhythm all its own.
